Or people that own a truck and plow. Friend's dad investment on a $4K truck and plow several years ago into a $16K profit in one season, and that was of course only when it snowed, not the off days (my guess was maybe he put in a month of days work that season). I was very, very close to investing in my own truck and plow back when I had well above five figures. College is a crazy expense let me tell you. I'm going to build it up once again very soon and I will have my own plow business worst case scenario in a couple years. Nice thing is it's literally part time so all my other duties will not be hindered.

How does that work? Are they contracted to certain areas? Who pays them? I've thought about doing this too.

Cold for me. It's easier to stay warm than get cooled off (can't even sleep if it's too hot).

ive been in both...i live in the extreme desert of Imperial County in Southern California, i go to Utah in the winter from to time where temps tend to quite low, worst ive been in is -10.

As far as where id rather be, i like the 10 degree weather much better. at least i have less of a risk of frostbite than i do of heatstroke, but thats just me

I'll take 110 degree weather over 10 degree any day.The girls wear less clothing in hot weather(oh yea!:D).I've been living in Arizona since 1975 so
I'm used to the heat.I was born in Ohio and have lived in Indiana and
Pennsylvania,don't like cold weather.

I'd rather have 110 degree weather than 10 degrees. I love heat.

:goodpost:

I don't know what it is, and I know it's not normal, but I've always had a thing for oppressing hot weather. Granted, I love the cold too, but I'm just a junkie for the extreme heat of the summer.

110 with the humidity we get in Windsor would feel like 130. Fuck that. Although, I'm not sure I've ever experienced 10 degree weather. It's about 20 here in Jan/Feb.

I guess I'd have to choose 110. Snow is a bitch.

10 degrees, no doubt about it.

I can always put more clothes on to get warmer, but 110 degrees is oppressively hot. And even wearing shorts and a t-shirt, I'll still be sweating like a whore in church. You can't do anything in that weather except sit in the air conditioning. But when it's cold, I can go sledding, play football, ride a snowmobile, or play in the snow with my niece.

10! growing up in southern Kalifornia i've been in 110 a lot (130 once). it sucks about as much as anything can.

A little surprised by the poll results so far. Then again, I have been in both extremes and there is something about that refreshing coldness that does it. It's hell on the car sitting outside and all, and few girls in bikinis, unless you go to the Water Park of America or something which is indoor, but I like it.
