I don't know. Even I am starting to think that Michigan could come out of the Big Ten East. They have been the most impressive Big Ten team so far along with Northwestern. I do think that it's actually going to help Sparty to get out of East Lansing for a couple of weeks.

post date 9/27 baylor is overrated .....TCU is overrated...ole miss is overrated the first team baylor and tcu plays with a rude defense they are finished. and its not going to be raining lucky charms every game for ole miss like it was in T town last week. vandy was all in their face 3 qtrs. the way i see it ohio st is number one till someone hands them a L. if and i did say if...what IF bama goes to athens next week and beats georgia...what we going to do with them? to bad georgia is not playing baylor and bama is not playing tcu...we could see how high the grass was next sunday. so could the QB for baylor and tcu....after they woke up.....one thing i see for sure...next week between the hedges when the smoke clears one of the elite will emerge. one more thing before i go...i have a new name for Tennessee ...Penelope some

I'm not sure how this helps 'Bama's case because they still lost to team that's going to take a tumble in the polls. TCU and Baylor both did what they needed to do, win, by a lot. I'm giving a little bit of a break to teams that played in bad weather, which was almost everybody in the eastern time zone. Sparty is being decimated by injuries to the OL. They should survive and escape NJ without a loss but then a trip to the BIG HOUSE is the next week. I don't know what to say about Ohio St. They win, it's god awful ugly, but they win.

Yes. Bama also lost to a team that tumbled to 14 in the polls. So what you have now is a win vs. 19 and a loss vs. 14. It really doesn't matter much until Nov. anyway.

How is it that after 12 years as a member, you still haven't learned how to use the quote function?

The only surprising thing about that game was the margin of victory. I've been saying the same thing for years; off the field, Mark Richt is a great recruiter, but on the field, he's a horrible coach, and yet again, Richt proves me right. I just knew Bama was gonna win, but to win like that against the talent Georgia has is just unforgivable. Richt and Charlie Strong need to go back to high school.

I thought Notre Dame was overrated before the season began, and after they lost their 2 best players to season-ending injuries, it was just a matter of time before someone put them down.

I also said USC and UCLA were overrated, and they also took an early loss.

The real surprise of the season is Ohio State. Yes, they are unbeaten, but they have been flirting with disaster with teams they should beat by 40 or more. It makes me think that losing offensive coordinator Tom Herman to Houston was far more profound than anyone realized. At the start, I thought when OSU and Michigan play, Jim Harbaugh would get his ass handed to him, but with OSU playing like crap, and Michigan playing better anyone expected, the Wolverines could spoil OSU's hopes for another playoff berth.
