It's running it's final episodes right now -- Stargate Universe. So good and sooooooo underrated :crying:

As alway with space-opera.

And with the the cancelation of SG-U, they won't be any space-opera TV show next season

i forgot about 24. but that went off the air on its own terms instead of a network decision i think. loved how the show ended tho

I think it got tired by the 3rd or 4th year. You just can't have that much terrorism in the SE corner of the San Fernando Valley. I also was annoyed with the plot gaps, (What people did in the first couple of hours, never matched the whys in hours 18-24) I always felt the they never had finished, polished scripts for the whole season/day, when they started shooting the 1st episode of the season.

All too true, but still ... I found it endlessly addicting. And the series is the perfect type for watching one episode after another on disk. I recently burned through a weekend watching the entire first season (barely left myself enough time to log in to Freeones!)
