after reading this article (http://www.wrestlingattitude.com/in...ll&id=1316038525&archive=&start_from=&ucat=2&) my question for everyone is do you think Dwayne The Crock Johnson should compete in match before WM28? i say he should. they could build on a story with it where at first doesn't then have Cena bring up the fact that he's competing and gonna be ready for WM when the Crock is is gonna have ring rust, Dwayne shrugs it off like he always does every time someone calls him out. Then CM Punk calls him out. Then Orton, Morrison, Swagger, Miz and everyone else on the roster calling Dwayne out and complain that Dwayne is supposed to be in the main event when they are busting their ass week in and week out trying to earn their WM main event spot. Building a story where everyone starts turning on The Crock would be interesting. storylines aside, my issue is why would i pay $50 for a ppv to see a guy that left WWE for a hollywood career beat a guy who busts his ass for the company everyday, then leave and go back to his precious hollywood career and never be seen again for another 7 years while John Cena continues to bust his ass for the WWE. thats just my personal feeling on it.

im all for Rock having a match before Wrestlemania. Not sure if Survivor Series is the right time to, but somewhere before id like to see it

I've said it before and I'll say it again... John Cena "busts his ass" because he is under contract and getting paid big $$$ to do so and it's not like he has anything else to do for a career. The Rock is probably under a limited contract where it was discussed how many appearances he would make and so on, also he's busy filming movies like GI Joe. What reason would have to keep the Rock around every week anyway? How are they going to build a storyline for 12 months without it getting stale or people tuning out, they can't because people have short attention spans and aren't going to care after a few months, they've been managing to keep this storyline going on Twitter and Facebook, which is what WWE is relying on to keep the flame fueled. Bret Hart isn't there every week, Undertaker isn't there every week, Shawn Michaels isn't there every week.. Why are they going to focus on The Rock, or other older stars, week in and week out? That would hurt their younger talent and take away valuable tv time. So in short, Cena is a current superstar UNDER CONTRACT, Rock is a guest every once in a while and is only going to show up when he's needed.... Cena isn't holier than everyone because he shows up... Ask Cena to show up to shows for free and see what he says, I guarantee you won't be happy with the answer.

If John Cena's movie career took off and hadn't pretty much failed, then he too would be out there in Hollywood just like the Rock. Like has already been said, Cena's under contract. The Rock is retired.

I don't think the Rock will beat Cena. Simply put the WWE has shown no signs that they doubt Cena's drawing power with kids and even they have to realize that a Cena victory will only continue his popularity with kids and that will make them a lot more money than catering to the internet fans. Sad, but true.

From what I read, WWE is trying to get a series of matches going between the Rock and John Cena. Don't be surprised if the Rock wins at Wrestlemania because that would probably be only one of those matches.

the point was trying to make was Dwayne Johnson should not go over the guy that IS under contract with the company. yeah i know Johnson is not under contract, i get that, my issue is, lets say Dwayne wont be making any movies between January and April 1st, which would mean there shouldn't be any reason why he couldn't spent time with the company for those months. i dont have a problem with him beating Cena IF he spends time the wwe, competing in matches and HELPING and TEACHING the younger talent. but if the ONLY match he has is at WM28 he should not go over Cena when Cena IS under contract. the 'torch' was passed to Dwayne at one time, now its his turn to do the same.

Raw Gets its lowest rating since Dec. 1997, 2.7 Rating.

What do you think, Monday Night Football or people just tuning out?

My opinion is that WWE is starting to feel the hurt of marketing towards kids and having a PG product. You're not marketing to the adults who have the say in what the family is going to watch. Growing up, my family had one tv that had cable and ultimately, it was up to my dad if we were going to watch football or Raw, the great thing was that my dad actually enjoyed Raw and would most of the time happily choose Raw over MNF unless it was a huge game or his team was playing. I think today, if a kid wants to watch Raw, the adult in the family would rather watch football or maybe something else because of the way WWE is being marketed, leaving the kid to either watch it later, if they have DVR/TiVo or not watch it at all.

I used to watch wwe regularly when I was a kid and teen, from about 1999-2004 (late) when i lived at home, and because it was actually decent back then. It wasnt being forced to watch crappy wrestlers like cena every week

I used to watch raw, smackdown, heat, and velocity, i would never miss an episode no matter what

and as soon as i moved out of my parents house to my own pad, i had no money and could not afford cable, so i couldn't watch wwe programming,l not that i was really missing anything at all because i could find out the results on line

now fast forward to 2011, and i have not watched a full episode of wwe programming in almost 5 years, with the exception of going to a few hosue shows, imo wwe has been garbage ever since the pg era was introduced

plus the fact that every episode of raw and smackdown is uploaded to youtube within a couple of hours of the program ending, so like many other fans, i can watch another tv program when wwe is on tv, then just go read the spoiler and select what i want to watch on youtube

I agree with the above statement. The internet has made it so accessible to get results or even watch the shows that you don't have to sit and watch it "live" anymore.

I, too, used to watch wrestling religiously.

But, i got turned off in the last few yrs, moreso w/ the PG shit. I like them cursing a little more and the Punk stuff has me watching (well Raw, anyways), but thats about it. it still ain't great. And, this Monday it was shit.

I find hard to dedicate myself, the way I used to.

Hope the ratings continue to drop, and the WWE finally fully gives up the PG shit...

the main thing is that people are getting bored with the stories and the g rating...if the stories were better people would still watch

i wont watch religiously again ever, unless they get rid of the pg bullshit garbage

bring back the hardcore title, wwe just needs to make sure the protect them from lawsuits and shit like that

"well your honor, little johnny here thought that if he hit suzie over the head with a metal trashcan, and then rammed her head into a brick wall, that she would get right back up and want some more, where he got this idea you ask? well he saw an unnamed male doing it to another male on wwe raw last night"

I think it's been getting a bit better as of late, the Sin Cara vs Sin Care storyline will be good, despite it being a reused Taker vs Taker one.

I'm also liking CM Punk, although it's all a work, it's better than Cena being the hero every week.

They could salvage something with the Truth/Miz match-up. A lot of people are saying that TNA is doing well because folks crave the old dudes.

Ummm yeah, that match was just... *sigh*.. I don't even know.

I'm glad Mark Henry won the World Heavyweight Championship. He is one of the most loyal guys to stay with WWE after all these years of crappy storylines and he's close to retirement.
