I disagree. There should be one legacy that can't be touched. 'Taker would let it happen, but he's used to doing the job for the company in order to get the show or another player over. If Vince has any respect, he won't let the streak end, especially to his whiny son-in-law. 'Taker's yard is the Wrestlemania ring, and it needs to stay that way.
:glugglug:

i dont see the point in having the undertaker wrestle at wrestlmania then, because it is so predictable. any match with the undertaker at wrestlmania should be on the card, but they should not actually wrestle, just have a ref say undertaker is the winner and that will be that. thus leaving time for othe rmatches

HAHAHAHAHA, I would actually be in favor of that. I don't mind the "Undertaker is going to win" BS at Wrestlemania so much. It's the fact that the matches are hardly ever good (or even decent for that matter).

I'd much rather see an amazing match between two jerkoff wrestlers than watch a shitty match that the Undertaker wins.

But, 99% of wrestling fans are sheep and will like whatever Vince McMahon wants them to like...so, they'll continue to be predictable and give boring victories to boring wrestlers instead of giving sweet victories to sweet wrestlers.

I actually thought Taker was going to lose this year at WM.

you could just be HHH and sleep with the bosses daughter

As many titlle runs as Cena and Batista? Please dude, wrestling's not real, it's an elaborate storyline that means a hell of a lot more than who has the silly little belt. And as for Wrestlemania, I'll take 'Taker's streak over any other predictable outcome...y'know say, Triple H winning the title yet again....we're not all railing the boss's daughter...though she is a piece.

undertakers wrestlemania streak needs to end. word has it that HHH wants to be the one to end his streak, that would be so stupid. they need someone that fans would not expect to end the streak of the undertaker

Word at the WWE Offices in the meetings is that creative is in favor of ending Undertaker's streak but Vince is dead set against it because it is a legacy, however Vince is open to the idea if it is going to be a new upcoming star whose career would be elevated by it. He is not in favor of an established star like Triple H or John Cena because there is no point.

We'll see how that works...there's also word that HHH wants to end it, and there's also word that it might be rematch time for Batista, who is currently unhappy with his push, and the fact that they already did "the match of the year" in Batista's match with Cena at Summerslam.

Oh, and if liking the 'Taker legacy makes me a sheep, then BAAAAAAAA! 'Taker's matches are hardly ever good? Pull your head out of it, slick. He's put better and more consistent product out here while working with some of the worst in the business - (See Giant Gonzales, Great Khali, Mark Henry) and elevated the careers of so many by giving them the match of their career - (See John Cena, Kurt Angle and Mick Foley come to mind). As for Wm, you have to dance with the one that brought you, and legendary tilts with Sycho Sid, Kane (twice) and Big Show and Albert hardly provide one with match of the year moments, no matter how good a worker one of them is.

Latest buzz is that jeff hardy, in the company of Matt and Gergory "Hurricane" Helms was escorted out of the Nashville Airport by police this week.

Lets hope that Jeff hasn't been stupid again. As 1 more strike and he is out.

As for the talk about the Undertaker, he has a great gimmick that was amazizng for about 10 years, however after going to the American Badass which was good whilst it lasted. He has changed his look to somewhere in between the Badass and the original Deadman ad it just doesn't work for me. He needs to decide which of the 2 undertaker's he wants to be.
The gimmick doesn't allow for great chain wrestling but the gimmick alone is why he has stayed over.

talk has it he will lose at the next WM, HHH wanted to be the one to end the streak, but i dont think vince will allow that to happen. The last couple of years there was talk about having Kane end the Undertaker streak, because they are supposed to be brothers

I'd not want Batista, HHH, Orton, JBL, Cena, HBK, Mysterio, or Jericho to end the Undertakers streak, but i would also never want to see a cracker-ass bitch like Santino Marella do it

I would have liked to see Ric Flair end the undertakers streak

Didn't he just serve a 60 day suspension? One more and he's fired.

he was not a disturbance, he calmly waited until the next flight, which by then he would have been sobered up

Vince would be a fool to let him go, look at how big a fan base he has

Yeah, but he's been nailed for substance abuse twice. Depends on the terms of his reinstatement. His 2nd strike cost him what was supposed to be his first world title back on RAW.

I hope it all works out for him.

Well lets' see...the gimmick, the fact that he's one of the best workers they've got, the fact that at over 40 he's started with suicide dives and other risky moves, the fact that he's adapted his style to stay competitive, the fact that he's the locker-room leader and counsel to all the young guys...

Yeah, you're right, must be the gimmick.

I agree with you and I think that like Ric Flair was before he retired, Undertaker should be the next active wrestler to go into the WWE Hall of Fame.

The Undertaker is definitely the next active wrestler to go to the WWE Hall of Fame.

The only problem I have with "classic" wrestlers is that they hang around too long, IMO. I'm not putting the blame solely on them either. I think it has a lot to do with poor choices by WWE talent scouts and management.

They find excellent, jaw-dropping, young talent that will "wow" crowds for years to come, but they don't utilize them properly which leaves them with a filtered, shitty roster to put shows on with. So many younger wrestlers get misutilized and it sucks. Shelton Benjamin, Kenny Dykstra, Chris Masters, etc.

In order to keep people coming to the events and watching them on TV, they almost have to keep the older, "classic" wrestlers around just to do so.

I remember awhile back, that the only wrestlers Taker wants to end his streak, is either Kane, or Austin.

But if Vince wants a new upcoming wrestler to end Takers streak, I think the best wrestler to end it is Ted Dibasie Jr.

That is something I agree on.
The established stars are great to have about to bring in fans as they are instantly recognisable by name, and should be kept whilst they can still work solid matches and feuds whilst elavating the younger wrestlers on the roster and allowing them to become stars in there own right.

However to many stay around past there best for a various reasons.

I'd pick Jack Swagger as my choice
