The Undertaker is definitely the next active wrestler to go to the WWE Hall of Fame.

The only problem I have with "classic" wrestlers is that they hang around too long, IMO. I'm not putting the blame solely on them either. I think it has a lot to do with poor choices by WWE talent scouts and management.

They find excellent, jaw-dropping, young talent that will "wow" crowds for years to come, but they don't utilize them properly which leaves them with a filtered, shitty roster to put shows on with. So many younger wrestlers get misutilized and it sucks. Shelton Benjamin, Kenny Dykstra, Chris Masters, etc.

In order to keep people coming to the events and watching them on TV, they almost have to keep the older, "classic" wrestlers around just to do so.
You can't put all of the blame on WWE talent scouts and mismanagement. Some of these younger stars ruin it for themselves with poor ring production, trouble getting over with the crowd, and just plain acting like idiots.
"Mrs. Foley's baby boy" finally debuted on TNA Impact last night.
Damn it, I missed it playing Star Wars: The Force Unleashed.

See what you get for being a Star Wars junkie?

It's funny, after Smallville went off I kept thinking what the hell comes on at 9:00 on Thursday and for the life of me I couldn't remember so I started playing The Force Unleashed. I finally remembered TNA, turned it on at 10:00 and wasn't interested in the match so I went back to playing my game.:1orglaugh

That is something I agree on.
The established stars are great to have about to bring in fans as they are instantly recognisable by name, and should be kept whilst they can still work solid matches and feuds whilst elavating the younger wrestlers on the roster and allowing them to become stars in there own right.

However to many stay around past there best for a various reasons.

Many stay around because wrestling's all they know and they've pissed away their money on various other things. There's no health insurance, benefits or retirement fund...hence the recent "help a wrestler" telethon hosted by some former divas.

However, a lot of stars like Michaels and the Undertaker stay because they can still work and do so competitively. Michaels/Jericho has been the feud of the year, as was Edge/Undertaker on Smackdown! Elevation of talent is a good point and I would expect Michaels to run afoul of the new 2nd generation stable and Randy orton before too much longer.

I don't know about everyone else, but I think this Evan Bourne vs Kane match is pretty good.

Kane should be wrestling better guys than evan Bouring

Kane (in his current state of "blah") shouldn't be wrestling anybody at all. Once the mask came off...they ruined him.

I say, put him in a hardcore match or a match that involves fire, have him wrestle someone worthy enough of beating the shit out of him, "burn his face" again, have him sit out for 6-8 months and then...

Come back with the MAAAAASSSSK and make him a badass, take no names wrestler again.
