This post is great. Now I'm up to date. I missed both shows for a couple of weeks.

Does anyone watch TNA? It's starting to become my favorite. WWE seems to be the same blah, blah BS for half the show, and the same matches and rivalries for months.

first of all, I'd just like to say that i got my tickets for the Raw and SmackDown! taping in Manchester for the 13th and 14th of November.
if anyone else is going, let me know, maybe we can go for a beer or something.

Who Caught Randy Orton Violating WWE Policy?, Mordecai Returning?

Backstage WWE official Bruce "Brother Love" Prichard was the individual who caught Randy Orton violating a WWE policy backstage during Wrestlemania week. He promptly reported Orton's actions to Vince McMahon. That was the final straw and Orton was suspending indefinitely the following week. In regards to Prichard's behavior, a former WWE wrestler said this, "Prichard is the type to be your friend to your face, goad you into saying something negative about Vince, and then run to Vince and quote you to get you in trouble and score brownie points with the boss."

WWE was expected to sign Kevin Fertig (Mordecai) to a developmental contract earlier this week. There is no word yet if he's actually signed the contract though. Paul Heyman is very high on Fertig, however, several other people aren't.

Odds On God To Appear At Backlash, RAW/Canada & More

There will be no RAW preemption this week due to the NHL on TSN. Next week (May 8), RAW is attentively set to start on tape delay at 10pm, with an immediate replay at midnight. (Thanks to Adam Lebow)

Betmaker (www.betmaker.com), has 3/1 odds that “God” will abstain from conflict and leave former heavyweight champion Sean Michaels to take on Vince and Shane McMahon in a handicapped match. Betmaker also has offered odds on who WWE might ask to play “God,” if he shows up to wrestle. The most likely candidate is former DX stable mate and 10-time WWE champion the “King of Kings” Triple H. Betmaker has also posted odds on Michaels’ former Rocker tag team partner, Mary Jannetty, appearing as “God” or WWE using a special effects show to create the illusion of “God.”

Loved it when Shaun Michaels kicked Vince right in the face and won the match, i cant wait to see a match between The Great Khali and Undertaker

Kurt Angle Injured

WWE.com said:
Wrestling Machine dismantled
April 29, 2006

Kurt Angle has suffered a cracked rib. As a result of the injury, the Wrestling Machine will now be out of action for an undetermined amount of time.

The injury originally occurred on the recent European tour when Mark Henry delivered the World’s Strongest Slam to Angle during a match in New Castle. “At that point, I wasn’t even sure if I was going to be able to compete against Mysterio for the World Heavyweight Championship,” Angle later admitted to WWE.com. But being the intense competitor that he is, Angle kept his injury to himself and fought valiantly for the title he feels he rightfully deserves.

Unfortunately for Angle, the final straw came when Henry, perhaps realizing he injured Angle earlier in New Castle, dismantled the Wrestling Machine on SmackDown with a near 400-pound splash through a ringside table.

Just as he did to former World Heavyweight Champion Batista, Henry injured Angle to the point where he will now be out of action indefinitely, meaning he must forfeit his spot in the King of the Ring tournament. As a result, Booker T advances to the final round.

WWE Judgment Day Main Event Announced

WWE.com said:
SmackDown General Manager Theodore Long has announced the main event for Judgment Day, which will take place Sunday, May 21, at the U.S. Airways Center in Phoenix, Ariz. The self-proclaimed American Hero, and United States Champion, JBL will challenge the biggest underdog World Heavyweight Champion in the history of sports-entertainment – Rey Mysterio.

JBL issued the challenge last week on SmackDown during his United States Championship celebration. “I took a Championship off your two buddies, Chris (Benoit) and Eddie (Guerrero). You’re the third, amigo,” said the cocky JBL. “That thing is bigger than you,” he said about the World Heavyweight Championship on Rey’s shoulder. “That thing will look really good on my right shoulder with (the U.S. Championship) on my left.”

Mysterio has admitted that his Championship reign can end at any time. The 5 foot 6, 165 pound champion may be small in stature, but his enormous heart cannot be overlooked. Although Rey’s miracle reign as champion can come to an abrupt halt at any time, one thing is for sure – the master of the 619 will give it everything he’s got. Will it be enough, though, when he faces JBL at Judgment Day?

Latest On Kurt Angle's Injury Status

WWE.com is reporting today that as a result of a "cracked rib", former World Heavyweight Champion Kurt Angle will be out of action for an "undetermined amount of time." The story on WWE's website states that Angle suffered the injury during the WWE's recent tour of Europe during a match with Mark Henry. Angle added, “At that point, I wasn’t even sure if I was going to be able to compete against Mysterio for the World Heavyweight Championship." It should be noted that although Angle does have a slight rib injury, the general wear and tear of his body is the main reason for the time off. As a result of Angle's injury, he will be unable to compete in the rest of the King of the Ring Tournament and Booker T will now advance to the finals on SmackDown. We hope to get more information regarding Angle's injury and how long he is expected to be out of action for in the next few weeks or even months.

Sweet seats buddy!

You're even going to be on the side of the ring seen by the cameras. Bring a sign that says "STEK 3:16" or something on it so we can all see ya!

British wrestler Steve Lewington was offered a developmental deal with WWE and has accepted after working both WWE events in London last weekend. Lewington was the worker in the squash match against Umaga and took a pretty impressive bump against the steel steps. As a result of accepting the developmental deal with WWE, Lewington will be forced to forfeit the British Heavyweight Title for the All Star Wrestling promotion, one of the bigger promotions in the UK. It should be noted that Lewington was already scheduled to return to Ohio Valley Wrestling this June anyways.

as a fellow Brit (who shares the first name, lol) i hope he does well in WWE

----------

There has been some talk that Sabu will be meeting with WWE officials at the RAW taping this Monday in Columbus, OH.

----------

Jim Ross will be replacing Joey Styles as the lead announcer at tonight's Backlash pay-per-view. A decision has been made for Jim Ross to become the lead announcer on Raw again, possibly as early as tomorrow night. If not tomorrow, then definitely in a few weeks.

Joey Styles will not be left stranded as he will more than likely be calling the new ECW show. It will likely debut in June.

Trish injury update

The following was first reported by WWE's new mobile alert system:

According to WWE doctors at the Rupp Arena in Lexington, KY, Trish Stratus dislocated her right shoulder during her match with Women's Champion Mickie James. Doctors managed to put the shoulder back in place. An MRI has been scheduled. Check back here for updates.

:( Hope she's still around...but going to miss her in the ring :(

It has been reported that Mick Foley will be returning to WWE RAW tonight. Foley will be the guest in "The Cutting Edge" segment.

It has also been reported that Mick Foley will be involved in the build to ECW One Night Stand, which in that case means this could be the start of that storyline.

----------

The boxing and wrestling inspectors from the commission for the state of Kentucky is prepared to issue eight or nine violations for the use of blood at the Backlash PPV. Prior to the event, the WWE was warned against the use of blood, but of course, simply ignored the warning. Violators of the juicing rule are subject to fines, and in extreme cases, the promoter or promotion could lose their license in the state. Participants that violate the rule are also subject to a fine. Since blood was used in a few of the matches, those that participated in the match are subject to a violation. Additionally, Ohio Valley Wrestling was recently hit with a violation for using a non-licensed wrestler. In this case, the promotion and the participant were fined separately.

----------

According to backstage sources at RAW, Jim Ross is set to return to RAW full-time next week on RAW. The storyline for his return will be revealed tonight.

Joey Styles is scheduled to become the full-time announcer for the ECW brand.

Expect major ECW storylines to begin tonight.

Hey keep up the good work here guys, but a question, i am intuiged by the great Khali, does anyone know when he is gonna have another wrestle and when he is gonna wrestle The Undertaker

'Taker will probably come back for a fued with this guy

----------

As if you already didn't know, Joey Styles "shooted" on RAW, but obviously it was a worked shoot, otherwise WWE would have shut the feed off immediately. The change was made to let Jim Ross return to RAW next Monday night. Joey Styles is expected to take over the "new" WWE-ECW this upcoming June.

Next week on RAW, Mick Foley will face Edge in a Hardcore Match.

WWE have been thinking about removing Jonathan Coachman from the commentary team, thus making him a talent. Coachman didn't call Raw last night, nor the Backlash pay-per-view. Considering that Thea Vidale (Shelton's Momma) will more than likely not be brought back, he may become Shelton Benjamin's manager.

----------

Joey Styles actually wrote his own promo last night at RAW. He submitted it to the creative team and they obviously approved of it. Management was said to have really liked the promo and it was obviously meant for the start of the new ECW brand.

Have you guess been noticing things with Triple H and Shawn Michaels. I have a feeling that D-X is going to be back.

After the pass and look they gave to each other on the ramp on RAW last night, I'm pretty sure it's a sure thing.

Why? 'Cause the fans want it.

you guys may be onto something.
i remember watching WrestleMania 22 and both HHH and HBK did the D-X crotch chop in their matches and i instantly thought "hmm, is there something in this?"

Big Possible Spoiler Regarding D-X Return

Over at the the Canadian Viewer's Choice website, in a promo for the June Vengeance PPV, it states the following: "DX, the degenerates that started the Attitude Era, will reunite at Vengeance Are You Ready? Don't miss a minute of the live action as RAW presents WWE's Vengeance, Sunday, June 25th at 8pm ET/5pm PT, live and only on Pay-Per-View. A World Wrestling Entertainment Production. Go to wwe.com for more details. See It All On Viewers Choice!"

We are unsure if this means that DX will be reformed at or by this show. There has been a lot of talk concerning the return of DX and with and Triple H's actions on recent TV. This wouldn’t be the the first time that someone in WWE marketing released something before they were supposed to. In addition to that, Triple H is now said to be receptive to turning babyface.
