The point is, without this man, where would WWE be? Would they have won the Monday Night Wars? Would Vince even be able to destroy WCW? Stone Cold was the ultimate "cash cow" and yet nothing for RAW's 1000th? Seems bad to me, regardless if SCSA is heeling at home. How many Rock promos we saw before he actually came back? Bottom Line... RAW was a disappointment to me, and that's MY opinion.
:2 cents:

The reason I did not attend RAW 1,000 was because I underwent a major knee surgery on my left knee on July 2, 2012. Dr. Neal ElAttrache of the Kerlan-Jobe Orthopaedic Clinic in Los Angeles, CA performed the surgery.

The surgery was a complete success. I am currently three weeks post op. I began physical therapy a few days ago. I had a world class surgeon and a great medical team working on me. I am now working with a top notch PT team. I am still on crutches and will probably lose the crutches in another week. Then I will be in a custom knee brace much like the braces I wore in the ring for 9-12 weeks.

STONE COLD STEVE AUSTIN IS A 100% ASS KICKING MACHINE. There was no way I was going to limp down the ramp on crutches for RAW 1,000. It was time to get my knee fixed. The decision to no-show RAW 1,000 was made by me and no one else. I have always taken pride in making my shots and have never faked an injury or illness. Pro Wrestling is a tough game and it was time to pay the piper for some of the damage I incurred in the ring. No gripes. No complaints.

I know that's not good enough, but it is what it is. I guess he could've considered doing some sad via-satellite bit from his bed or couch, with some "Sorry I can't be there" ramble, looking less healthy than Regis, but that wouldn't be Stone Cold's style.

You can't please all the people all the time.
I won't pretend that nothing about the show disappointed me. Yes, I, just like everyone, expected to see Stone Cold. I also thought the Taker/Kane segment was going to last longer and go somewhere. Instead they did a few synchronized moves and then just stood there, then just left.
These things didn't automatically break the entire show for me, but they could've made it better. Then, so would a nearly-nude Diva hot oil wrestling match.

i think i would rather a fully healed and fully ready SCSA instead of that fat SCSA that showed up for the one PPV years ago after he was injured or was that after he retired?
FAT STONE COLD SUCKS....i want AUSTIN 3:16 in top form!

Damn right, and about the article in the second link, yes she still seems to have "it" (albeit that we only saw her perform two moves, but the way she executed them said a lot)...but the women's division doesn't have "it". What could she come back to? As someone in that comment section said, "Layla and the butterfly belt?". They need to completely bury the Diva division (which they seem to try to do anyway), bring in Lita and a handful of other real wrestling female talent and start a new division called Women's Wrestling. The Diva division is practically buried anyway, so this would be a great time to do this. Put the Diva roster on notice that they would have to really step it up (which might leave us with a couple of them standing, i.e. Beth Phoenix and Natalia Neidhart). Revolve them back to 'training camp' to work on their shit. Work with the FCW Divas and develop the division. The term "Diva" is demeaning and doesn't demand - or deserve - a lick of respect. They must call it the Womens Divison. Sadly, I think the biggest obstacle is that Vince and Hunter don't respect female wrestlers...which is probably why they call them 'Divas'.
I think that the fact that, after Austin's absence and Punk's heel turn, Lita's appearance is the most talked about part of Raw. That has to say something.
Hell, she was the 1st female to main event raw, to have a cage match...a tables match.

Khama's gone but Sara Del Rey is coming.

On SMackdown last night I loved how Cody Rhodes gave a bit of a tribute to his brother by doing Goldust's signature Dropping down and uppercutting the opponent to Sheamus.

^Oh yeah. I forgot. Didn't watch Smackdown, but something tells me I didn't miss anything. I'm watching Raw now.

AJ as GM could prove interesting, but I'm already seeing a side effect that I should have foreseen. She's dressed. Very dressed. McMahon-esque business suit. Bummer.
I do like, though, that the announcer announced her as A.J. Lee instead of just A.J. They really should be billing all females with first name-last name like they do with the guys instead of just first name like they're somebody's pet.

Btw, I'm glad CM Punk addressed Lawler on his bullshit one-liner at the end of last Raw, on how Punk allegedly "Turned his back on the WWE Universe". Just because someone attacks a popular face, that doesn't constitute as "turning one's back on everyone". The burger king is a jackass.

^I didn't read it, but I'm sure I know who you're referring to, and no, he isn't.

My thoughts when he came out, besides "nooooo!!" "goddammit" and "sonofabitch":
Great. Now all the kids and bitches are wetting themselves because Randy Orton's back.
Lawler: "Everyone in this arena is on their feet at the sight of Randy Orton!"
(reality): "Every boy under 15 and females under 30 are on their feet and everyone else is still seated because they don't care...But Cole, I've got wood! He's as oily as ever! (high pitched squeal laugh)".
I still say fuck that guy. He's a cunt.

Unrelated...
Allow me to beg your indulgence....Vickie Guererro's "Elaine Benes" dance moves were great.
Damien Sandow to Brodus: "Someone had better telephone your mother, my portly fellow".

They're really pushing the whole "Paul Heyman talked about HHH/Steph's family, you don't do that" thing, aren't they? That makes me think Paul will be pushing that angle some more. Maybe a kidnapping or something like that.

Daniel Bryan: "I want you people to stop chanting YES!"
(translation): "Everyone chant YES more...all the time".
TNA is suffering from the Yes chants now, too. It's not as bad as "What", but it still feels so out of place in that company.

I love how AJ referred to Daniel as "That little guy in the ring". Coming from her, that has to be one hell of an insult.

Anyone else think these Touts are a horribly worthless waste of air time? If I want to watch a bunch of jackoffs on the internet...I'll look on the internet.
Besides, they only air the most generic ones who are saying exactly what the WWE wants them to say. They won't air the ones with an actual opinion. Touts stands for "Totally overrated uninspired trivial shit".
I don't care what they have to say on Tout - I don't care what's trending on Twitter in the middle of a match - I don't care what the viewer ratings were last week compared to other shows.

Holy....! How many times in one show are they going to show the HHH-Stephanie/Heyman-Lesnar confrontation??
Am...Am I....Am I not supposed to watch the whole show? Am I supposed to only watch one hour? It's starting to feel like I'm watching an informercial.

I liked watching Broadus get his ass beat, that gimmick sux! The whole GM thing worked out pretty well, but when will we see her strip? :dunno: I'm also getting tired of Santino and Heath Slater as Jobbers, If your gonna hire average joes then why even bother? I wish Steph would come back as the SD GM she is too damn sexy! Only thing is her voice  but over all a good 3 hr show, Sheamus had a green eye lol It dont get no whiter! :rofl2: Also when will we see Tensai fight big show or Henry? Why doesnt he fight big guys, Tyson Kidd??? Come On.... Put him against Heavyweights :D

They should put Tensai up against Ryback....I keep wanting to call him Ryberg.
