This. Don't get me wrong, he is without a doubt one of the more skilled guys in WWE today. He's great on the mic and he has great in-ring skills (that he doesn't get to show off). But, neither of them are good enough for him to be shoved down our throats like he is.

yes, hes good on the mic, but i dont thin k thast his in ring nskills are very good, whats with the shoulder blocks? and tha AA is a total rip offm of the f-5

What??? Are you fucking kidding me?? Vince would have wanted to make a huge statement by making the ultimate example out of Sting. Because he was the top name in that company.
Also, yes Booker and yes even DDP were synonymous with WCW. People may forget that now because of their time afterwards with WWE.
And yes Rock is that character, but my point is that there is a loose script, so Vince wanted it to go down a certain way so things would go the direction he wants. The Rock was the perfect one to do it so that's who he used. He knew that the Rock could easily persuade the audience by simply doing what he does.
It was insulting to the fans and talent to 'black and white' the situation by having all of one side (WCW/WWF) as heels/face. There are other ways they could have done it. The whole "Invasion" angle was fucking stupid.

im not argueing all the facts posted above,i just want to say one WCW name that was over Huge in WWE. now is it because he was a free-agent and came over at the height of the WCW v WWE war? instead of coming over in the takeover and buyout of WCW?
CHRIS "LIONHEART" JERICHO!!!! the greatest wrestler EVER!!

He's good in the ring when WWE lets him go out and wrestle. Just look at his matches against HHH and HBK at Wrestlemania and his match against Umaga a few years ago at the Rumble. I think his finisher being a ripoff is the whole point of it.

I wonder how many moves are possible for people to do? Could there be anything new out there? I mean, until radiation sets in and people grow an extra arm or two, I don't think we'll see many new moves/holds/finishes. The best they seem to do is add a little gimmick to a recycled move, like Cena adding the 'you can't see me' gesture before doing it.

I can think of new moves... Say you have someone in the hold for a powerbomb, then you lift them up, but instead of dropping them back down on their backs you fall backwards and smash their face on the ground behind you.

Spending a lot of time in the create-a-move feature in Smackdown Vs. Raw really helps.

isnt that a move to kill a person? :dunno:
or isnt that the move of some guy from TNA who is from canada? i think it's chris something? im not sure... he has the guy in a pile driver position and then flips completely over. i could be crazy,i dont know!

That move described above sounds like the move the Big Show use to do.

WWE does limit movesets, i.e. you don't see piledrivers anymore. But when a guy like Randy Orton mentioned in an interview he runs the safe route on moves thus we see most often boring matches from him, there is a growing problem.

when kurt angle first did the ankle lock, it was a pretty good move, then Jack Swagger butchered it, and now Jeff Jarrett...:facepalm::facepalm:

sheamus just changed his finisher to the angle slam, the miz is going to do the money shot, cm punk now does the low down, and Evan Bourne will start doing the clothesline from hell

The Canadian Destroyer? That shitty piledriver that Petey Williams does?

was petey williams the tna wrestler that was supposed to be a copy of scott steiner

i want to say NO because i am pretty sure petey williams had 500 more moves than scott steiner's basic moves that he usually messed up anyway (clothesline, body slam, suplex, kick, kick, kick, kick, kick, elbow, kick, kick, steiner recliner, kick, kick)
