Sheamus, The Miz, Bourne and Y2J

I agree with The Miz, and Y2J, but Sheamus and Bourne? You can't be serious...neither one has a sweat drop of charisma! Fuck the WWE Champion (Sheamus) has matches during the middle of RAW, but yet everyone else, Nexus, Cena, Orton, etc., are always in the main event on RAW?!?

Bourne is lacking a bit but Sheamus cuts good promos, is believable as a tough guy, has a unique look, hasn't looked bad in the ring and has been built up very well.

What's your beef with Sheamus? You cannot honestly say he cuts bad promos or doesn't look devastating in the ring. You cannot say he hasn't tried to be a top player. His matches with goldust in ECW were quite intense and good. It's matches with Cena are not bad either. I'm not gonna hate on him just because he's extra white.

Sheamus isn't that bad, but he should not be holding the title. I understand that the WWE is trying to find newer guys than the same 3-4 to put the title on to keep it fresh, but give it to Jericho instead of Sheamus.

I think Bourne has potential, but he is not seasoned enough to be main eventing. I like him, but he went from having matches on Superstars to main event on RAW in one week. There was no build up or anything

well any wwe wrestler that is going to be wwe or world champion should first have to be either the intercontinental or united states champion, they shouldnt just be given the world or wwe title right away, as in seamus's case,

there are guys that have been with the company for years and they will never get the chance to really get over with the wrestling fans because they are never given time to shine in the spotlight as wwe or world champion. every little kid is a sheep and they will like every wrestler that vince tells them to like, ie rey mysterio, and vince will give them the wwe or world champion. jack swagger was also given the title way to early in his career


but then there are guys like christian, matt hardy, john morrison, and kofi kingston, that have amazing in ring skills and are decent on the mic and they get over with the older wrestling crowd that has been around since the attitude era or even before that, but because vince has gone bullshit pg on us, these guys will never be wwe or world champion because the little sheep kids dont bow down a worship them like to do with rey mysterio and the worlds most overrated wrestler john cena

I didn't say that they were good choices, I simply stated that your "fact" is nothing but your "opinion".

Since you asked though, in my opinion;

Yokozuna was being pushed as a dominant force back in the day and was a logical choice to carry the Championship.

Rey Mysterio, as everyone so puts it, is very popular with a lot of people. The "face" champion is usually the guy that can sell the merchandise. The man can wrestle (unlike Mr. 2 move Hogan and Flair) and puts his all into his matches. Is he someone that should be a long term champion? Probably not. A lot of people like to pick on his size but if that's the case then guys like Shawn Michaels and Chris Jericho should have never been champion and if popularity was a reason not to be champion, then your championship list is going to be practically non-existent. Also Rey has a lot of pride in being the World Champion and that's the type of guy you want representing your company.

Jack Swagger is like Sheamus. It's new blood in the championship picture so that the WWE doesn't have to keep using the same tired guys over and over and over again.

You say it's too early for him then how do you explain Brock Lesnar or the Undertaker? Two men who beat very top guys early in their WWE careers to become Champion.

Undertaker, a year after his debut got his shot at Hulk Hogan and Lesnar beat the Rock a mere 5 months after his debut. By comparison, Jack Swagger debuted in Sept. 2008 and won his first World Championship in March 2010.

There are usually three factors that determine who will carry the Championship. Popularity, work ethic, and backstage politics. All you have to do is look at the list of Champions to know that's the truth. A lot of the time popularity and work ethic aren't even enough because of the crap going on backstage. Sometimes the occasional swerve would happen and you have some one like the Great Khali holding the Championship but it's usually those three factors that determine title picture.

Yoko was built up as a monster and looked like a legit threat to kill anyone on the roster. The way he was built up and the fact that he was feared and hated by the fans made him a great choice at the time. Plus it was during the Roid Trials and he didnt look like a roider.

Swagger has the pedigree that WWE loves. He the last of the great wrestlers choosing WWE over MMA. He has the skills, moveset and besides a lisp, he is good on the mic. We beg for new blood in the World Title picture but complain about anyone they choose.

But everyone knows that Vince LOVES the big guys(mostly in stature,but like Rey,Shawn,and Jericho in over with the crowd) and he always wants one of those to hold the belt. I'm afraid that if any of these guys get the belt it will be like with Jeff Hardy and vince putting it on him because his contract was almost up and he moved a TON of merchandise.

i worked with a guy who was a big gym/weight trainer and he worked with a bunch of companies who did supplement sales and stuff like that at different shows and he met ALOT of the guys from the WWE and he met mark henry,brock,austin,the rock to name a few. he said henry he was the nicest fucking guy,very easy to talk to and he even worked out with him and he said the guy is a BEAST he can bench some sick amount of weight!
