i thought they showed that on Raw on monday? that he was guest ref.

Sheamus has not cut a bad promo yet. Hasn't cut a remarkably good one either.

Has a unique look. Huge guy, powerhouse.

Learning quickly and will get better fast if they keep him in there with the top guys.

Everyone in the WWE hierarchy likes him.

Great Worth ethic.

Did his push come too fast and early into his WWE stint? Yes.
Does he suck? No, he doesn't. He's a believable bad ass character with limited but believable offense.

like i said, not specifically just because he is HHH's boy. yes that has some to do with it but maybe the guy has a great work ethic and backstage it's noticed and that is what matters more

If the boys like you and you work out more than Trips, McMahonagment will take notice.

As opposed to Michaels walking up to Kofi Kingston or Evan Bourne or The Miz or DiBiase or Rhodes or Chris Masters or Morrison or David Hart Smith or Tyson Kidd....or anyone else who isn't HHH's boy and had the Championship handed to them within 2 months of being on the big show and then were forced onto the public who repeatedly chant that he sucks or he;s boring.

Nah...it's got nothing to do with him being HHH's boy at all

Sheamus gets booed but that's his job right now. If he's drawing heat then it's working.

He's more over than Dibiase, Masters or even the Dynasty.

Miz would cause a backlash worse than Sheamus did. Half net fans loath the Miz.

Evan Bourne is the furthest away from the title than anyone listed and no one is going to buy him as champ right now.

Kofi and Morrison are ready but they needed a fresh Heel besides Randy at the time.

Cody is the more over member of Priceless but not a leader or top guy. He has the potential as a face to be huge.

Sheamus wasn't that bad of a choice.

Sheamus gets booed but that's his job right now. If he's drawing heat then it's working.

I'm wondering if those boos are actual heat and not just X-pac heat...

Report: WWE Possibly Interested In Working With Goldberg
by Nick Paglino
Mar 14, 2010

F4WOnline.com is reporting that although WWE ran the replay footage of Brock Lesnar vs Bill Goldberg at WrestleMania XX largely to hype Stone Cold hosting Raw tomorrow night, the company is seeking to work with Bill Goldberg again. WWE is not, however, seeking to work with Goldberg in a wrestling capacity, but rather they want to sign him to a deal where they could use his name and likeness in video games, merchandise products, etc. Additionally, WWE wants to induct Goldberg into the Hall of Fame next year as we have been reporting that they are thinking of basing next year's HOF around a WCW theme as WrestleMania is being held in Atlanta.

Report: Update on Bret Hart's Post-WrestleMania Plans
by Nick Paglino
Mar 13, 2010

Source: PWInsider.com

It appears as if Bret Hart will be sticking around with WWE after WrestleMania as he is being promoted to appear on next month's WWE tour of Germany working as a special enforcer for bouts between Chris Jericho and Edge. It was initially believed that Hart would be done with WWE after WrestleMania, but it appears as if that's no longer the case.

Former WWE Diva To Join an MMA Broadcast Team

Mar 13, 2010

It was announced on today's episode of Inside MMA that former WWE Diva Maria Kanellis will be joining the broadcast team for "King of the Cage" on HDNet. She will be making her debut at the event being held in Reno, Nevada on March 26th.

Maria Heading to TNA?
by Nick Paglino
Mar 14, 2010

Recently released WWE Diva Maria Kanellis had the following to say in a recent interview with Al Norton of 411Mania.com:

"I think I was pretty surprised. It was very shocking. It was the day after my birthday, I had just got done with my taxes, I knew that I was going to go home to pack and get ready for the road that weekend. I had been in talks about my contract for probably three weeks, trying to change a few things just like any human being who holds any job for any amount of time, I wanted things to get better. I was asking for things I thought were very reasonable and apparently negotiations ended and they decided they no longer wanted me."

"It was a shock at first. I didn't have time to call my Mom. My Mom called me freaking out because it went up on the internet within a half hour and that's just common courtesy; you let employees call their friends and family rather than a mass press release that goes out to the entire world and you can't even call your Mom and tell her, "I'm ok, it's ok. I'm not freaking out." She's worried, saying "oh my God, what are you going to do? How are you going to pay for your house?" If I could have called my Mom I would have been so happy but I didn't even have time to do that."

"I think what's even more strange for WWE and I worked very hard for the Make-A-Wish-Foundation, which is the foundation I am supporting throughout the Celebrity Apprentice, so why would they burn that bridge with me," Maria asked. "I'm not going to burn any bridge with WWE but why would they burn that bridge with me? Maybe they just look at me like they can always make another one but I don't like to be looked at like a number. I don't think that anyone should be looked at like a number. Everybody has the right to be an individual and express their needs and I think it's horrible to send somebody away that has made so many Make A Wish kids happy, done so many things for their reading program. I've been to burn units, I've been to Iraq five times. Why would they burn that bridge with me?

"I am still trying to decide [On whether to go to TNA or not]. It's a tough choice for me because I am such a loyal person but beyond that, I have so many dreams and unfortunately I don't know if I can complete those dreams if I stay on the road wresting. We'll see. I have my album coming out in April," Kanellis said. "When it comes to TNA or anyone else, I'm not closing the door. I'm leaving it open for right now and maybe when the dust settles and the whole non-compete thing runs out I'll be closer to making a decision."

Backstage Details Behind Gregory Helms' WWE Release
by Nick Paglino
Mar 15, 2010

PWTorch.com is reporting that Gregory Helms' January arrest for public intoxication was pretty much the straw that broke the camels back in terms of his WWE status. Though it hasn't been confirmed, several sources within WWE feel that Helms was on thin ice with the company and management was looking for a reason to fire him. When the public intoxication incident occurred, WWE finally pulled the trigger on Helms.

Helms had developed somewhat of a reputation for being the party guy in WWE, as on several occasions Helms would post Tweets and blogs about drinking parties that he was having with other WWE stars. Initially, it was of no concern to WWE, however tensions began to arise last August when Helms posted a Tweet saying that he was up partying and drinking with TNA's Christopher Daniels, and then Daniels was later arrested on DUI charges not far from Helms' North Carolina home.

This is just too funny!:rofl2:

Monday Night War Ratings: How Did RAW & Impact Score?
by Matt Boone
Mar 16, 2010

The final numbers are in for the Monday Night War, week two.

WWE RAW scored a 3.7 cable rating, up from last week's 3.4 for the show last night hosted by "Stone Cold" Steve Austin.

The disappointing news was the number for TNA Impact, which came in at an 0.8, down from last week's 1.0. That was for the taped show that aired last night with Eric Bischoff being shaved bald, Jeff Hardy vs. AJ Styles, etc.

Mania plans

- WWE drug tested talents this past week, including people on the WrestleMania 26 card.

- For what it's worth, the plan right now is for the SmackDown brand stars to make regular appearances on RAW from now until the Draft in April.

- As of this week, the decision still hadn't been made whether John Cena vs. Batista, Undertaker vs. Shawn Michaels or Edge vs. Chris Jericho would be the last match at WrestleMania. The Unified Tag Team Title match is currently scheduled to open the show with Money in the Bank going on second. Vince McMahon vs. Bret Hart would likely go somewhere in the middle of the card. Of course, all of this is subject to change.

- WWE is looking to get The Rock to host the June 7th RAW from Miami but it's not confirmed that he will appear then.

- Word is that Stu Hart's video package for the WWE Hall of Fame is really good. It may debut on this week's Friday Night SmackDown.

- The plan right now is for Jim Ross, Michael Cole and Jerry Lawler to announce WrestleMania with Todd Grisham, Matt Striker and Josh Matthews doing backstage interviews and such.
