The early word on why Mr. Kennedy received his surprising release from World Wrestling Entertainment yesterday was that in addition to injuring himself yet again, his nearly injuring Randy Orton was the straw that broke the camel's back.

Kennedy returned to RAW this past Monday night after spending ten months on the shelf rehabbing a badly injured shoulder. In his first match back, during a spot in the main event with Randy Orton, Kennedy injured his wrist.

However the more important issue in the eyes of WWE management was that Orton nearly re-injured his bad shoulder as a result of an errant move on the part of Kennedy.

According to sources, Orton and Kennedy had words backstage after the show, although it was said it wasn't heated. Apparently Orton very calmly dressed Kennedy down, explaining he has to be more careful so he doesn't injure anyone else in the ring.

WWE.com confirmed the release of Mr. Kennedy on the website yesterday in their "Industry News" tab.

Then can someone tell me why oh why Dave "I'm going to **** someone in the ring" Batista is still with the company?

is there actual proof that he has injured someone else in the ring...other than himself like 4 times over the past 2 years?
if not then why should he be released? i don't like him as much as the next guy but he hasn't hurt anyone so.....

Not surprised to see Kennedy gone. He had talent but he more than often blew it by gettin injured. If he was released for almost hurting Orton then that is harsh. He should have been told to wise up and sent to developmental to work off his rust before getting on the main roster.

As for Batista injuring people the only one I can think off is when he injured Cena.

Dave should have got a raise for injuring Cena.

The only one I know of is John Cena but Batista has such a high percentage of botching moves I just find it weird that Kennedy would be released for injuring himself and botching a move when Batista has done it on several occasions.

Bagwell looks for WWE return

Friday, May 29th 2009, 4:00 AM

Former five-time WCW tag champ Buff Bagwell visited my aunts' holiday "Burger and Bean Blast" and chatted with King Gremlin.

He commented on the rampant rumors about him coming to TNA. "I don't know who started them, but (the rumors) are totally false. I have not been contacted by TNA. If they did call, I'd answer (even if it was collect) and listen."
