^One of my fave matches of his was against Hart at WM8 ..they left it off the Hitman's DVD for some reason. Anyway i have the match somewhere

From what I've read, they left out a lot of good matches in the Bret DVD. Most notable being the 60 minute iron man match, which was quote, "Left out due to time restrictions." end quote

At the Ohio Valley Wrestling house show last night (which was pretty good) and in the second match, former WWE World Tag Team Champion Rene Dupree was taking on a OVW wrestler named J-Man. About two or three minutes into the match, J-Man gave Dupree a boot to the gut and Dupree fell to the ring and started screaming in pain, 'My hernia! My hernia! The kick looked fine and looked to be just one of those freak incidents.

Quickly after that, Dupree rolled up J-Man and got a quick win which just seemed to be a quick way to end the match with Dupree still winning. As he rolled J-Man up, he still looked to be in an insane amount of pain. After the match, Dupree had to be carried off while still groaning and looking to be completely out of it. It looked like a groin injury or hernia or something, but has to be serious from the tone of everyone at ringside as well as the quick finish and the pain in Dupree's eyes."

Dupree suffered a legit hernia injury a while back and has been recovering from it these past few months, but it looks like the match re-aggravated his injury which could be very serious considering the degree of his past injury. It is confirmed that Dupree was taken to the hospital after the event so there is no doubt something went wrong.

To update on the possibility of The Rock at Wrestlemania, The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that the one person he would want to work with is Bret Hart. Due to Hart’s respect for the Rock, if he was to work with someone, The Rock would be a likely candidate. However, his physical condition likely prevents him from doing a match that he would want to be remembered for.

WWE has suggested Michaels as an opponent for him, however The Rock wasn’t a fan of that idea. He has made it clear that he felt Shawn Michaels was an as##### to him when he first came in, and was one to the point where he vowed he will never forget it. He also doesn’t think that Michaels is the same kind of big draw that Hogan, Austin, Hart, etc. are.

There is a chance that the filming of his next movie could be delayed until April, which would allow him to appear at Mania.

Taker would be good for him.Also this would be good for Taker if it is to be his last Mania as many think it will.Personally I'd love to see it.

'Mania just doesn't seem like a wrestling event anymore.
all the big guys requesting matches against legends and stuff.
it's just like a big Hollywood event (as they hyped it last year)

Rock vs Taker(no more old school vs new school)
Rock vs Micheals(just not interesting or worthwhile)
Rock vs Hart (iffy)

About the entrance music. I forgot what that song is, but has anyone played FFX-2? The first music video styled song where Yuna is being framed. I mean sure its done by a Japanese group. But to me, it hit the spot. As it didn't feel like rock but more like J Pop.

I never did like JBL.

Is there any indication about when Lita will start wrestling again? Or even when she will become a face and Trish going back to her hoe like ways? It was a shame that Gail Kim was let go though. I would have loved to see Gail & Lita team up against 2 of the other women.

I mean they are quick, flexible and were both experienced in the mexican wrestling style. Lita could also have given Gail a few tips as Lita was seen in ECW before WWE.

If there was 3 ladies who could return to the wrestling business and join WWE Raw or Smackdown as divas, here's my choice.

Jasmine St. Claire - because I loved how she tried to do the mexican wrestling thing. But made it look more like a porn shoot than a actual wrestling act.

Kimberly Paige - Maybe she could aid in the promotion of Smackdown. She does have the business skills after all. So if the Raw GM is still needed, I think Kimberly could take it.

Chae An - Aside from Kimberly, Chae was my favorite WCW Nitro Girl. Not because she was hot looking, but there aren't much asian women in the WWE anymore aside from Gail Kim. Sides, I think she would be a crowd pleaser. If she can fight, Chae could aid Benoit against Booker T and his wife.

If Ashley & Gail Kim fought Lita & Kristy Hemme. Who would win? My money is on Lita and Kristy. Because both of em are formidible in the ring alone, and as its said. Red heads are spicer, so thats my choice.

Not really my style of posting news in this thread, but Ken Kennedy.........Kennnedy, is one of my favs.


KEN KENNEDY ON THE LAW: LIVE AUDIO WRESTLING (Jan 22nd 2006)

HOW HE GOT INJURED?

During a tour of Italy he was in the ring in Milan, Italy in a 10 man tag. He was dropkicked off the apron and took a big fall backwards, landed on his side on the concrete floor. He continued to work but after an MRI he learned he tore his lat off the bone and had to have surgery. Had surgery at the University of Minnesota, they cut underneath his armpit and had to drill in his arm. He has been given 6-months to return. He cannot use his arm at this point.

DOING THE COMMENTARY ROLE

Not sure if it's permanent, he hopes to be involved in the show in some capacity. He recently co-hosted "Byte This" and was the 3rd most downloaded episode underneath Bret Hart and Lita.

COMPARING JIM CORNETTE TO PAUL HEYMAN

Kennedy said he respects Cornette but he never saw anything in Ken Anderson and Heyman was the reason he got called up. He felt he wasn't utilized when Cornette was running it. The first day Heyman was put in charge he took Ken aside and said he was the next one that would be called up. He says Heyman let him be creative and definitely prefers Heyman over Cornette.

THE ANNOUNCER GIMMICK

In high school he was the announcer for the school basketball games and in his Mass Media class he did a radio assignment and the gimmick started in high school. A friend of his suggested repeating the last name because it would be funny. Heyman suggested doing the gimmick in OVW that he did back in high school.

USING "KENNEDY"

Ken said that Vince McMahon wanted him to use a name other than "Anderson" because of the affiliation with Ole, Arn and Gene. Heyman suggested the "Kennedy" name because it's Vince's middle name. Ken wasn't crazy about the name but went with it.

REMEMBERING EDDie GUERRERO

Ken said there were a lot of people in the industry that were fake and would say one thing to your face and an other behind your back, he said Eddie was a genuinely good guy and was such a positive person, he would talk to everyone from the guys in dark matches to those in the main event. He notes how it's been some time since Eddy passed away and still the crowd chants his name and brings signs. He also noted you could tell he was hurt physically but was still positive. He said it's an "unfortunate honor" to be the last man to ever wrestle him.

CBS and Warner Bros. issued the following press release this morning following the conclusion of a press conference announcing that the UPN and WB Networks would shut down and merge into the CW Network this Fall. Of interest to wrestling fans is the note that WWE Smackdown, described as a UPN staple, "is expected to play a role in the schedule."

She also said they could offer her two million and she still wouldn't do it. She said that she wants things to be left to the imagination.

After Juventud Guerrera's termination a few weeks ago, Vito has now been dubbed "the most likely WWE wrestler to be fired." Vito has heat backstage because of his attitude.



The Undertaker's most likely opponent for Wrestlemania is Mark Henry.
