I agree 100% the Miz has huge potential if used right the guy is gold on mic and is only getting better in the ring.I wouldn't mind him teaming up with TBK.

Depends if they resurrect the tag-team division or not. It's gotten very lame with the dissolution of Morrison and Miz. I'd rather not see Miz/Morrison 2. see how they work him as a stand alone product. The Cena angle is nice, but we'd have to have John drop a match or two, and we all seem to see how creative, Cena or both feels about that. I do have a feeling that Miz may be Kendrick's "the" partner he's promised.

Ah, to hearken back to the days of the Bulldogs, Demolition, the Bees, hell, even Strike Farce...when tag-team wrestling mattered.

Man, when the Miz first showed up, i could not stand up. But, the man has improved 100 fold. In fact, he is one of the few constantly enjoyable things over on Raw. The man is gold on the mic. Cena better put him over and job to him. Needless, to say i abhor Cena!

Yeah, he's gold, as was Morrison last night on the mic for Superstars. They both have the potentail to be huge, with the possibility of a feud down the line since Miz attacked Morrison after they were drafted apart.

Bigshow/Horny was the main event last night? WTF? Golddust makes the save? is he still around?:dunno:

I've got to say that I'm loving the way that WWE is once again building up the women's wrestling - getting a number of women that can actually work in the ring. I just watched a tag-team of Gail Kim & Melina vs Michelle McCool & Alyssia Fox (spelling?). All 4 of those women are great to look at and all of them can move in the ring. Then you add in Maryse and Natalya and Beth Phoenix and Mickie James, probably my fave current women's wrestler just for her speed and intensity when she wrestles another woman skill, and WWE has quite a nice group of women wrestlers. The woman wrestler that just needs to go, in my opinion, is Jillian Hall - she's not hot to look at and she can't move in a ring.

I thought that match was one of last night's best matches. Nice to see Gail NOT job! And, she makes a great tag team w/ Melina!

Backstage News: Plans For Ric Flair's Current WWE Run
by Matt Boone

"As we reported immediately following the Judgment Day PPV last night, Ric Flair is expected for tonight's RAW.

Flair is back with WWE doing a short-term program for a number of reasons. He's apparently been texting them about a come-back and as reported before, he does want to wrestle in the ring. As of now, it's a mixed reaction in WWE as to whether or not Flair will be used as an active competitor in the ring.

Traditionally, Flair is considered a ratings draw and the RAW numbers have been in the toilet due to what WWE considers a lack of star power.

In addition to those reasons, WWE wants to keep Triple H off TV for several more weeks."

WWE confirmed the first two matches for its upcoming Extreme Rules pay-per-view event during Monday’s RAW telecast.

Extreme Rules, once known as ECW One Night Stand, takes place in New Orleans, LA on June 7, 2009.

The WWE Championship will be determined in a steel cage match with Randy Orton defending against Batista. Also on the card is a submission match between Big Show and John Cena.

I like the idea of the submission match at extreme rules after the way they played on Cena not being able to get Show in the STF at Judgement Day but I am just hoping that it is not another stinker that they put on.

the miz rocks the mic yet again . im hoping he is up for a big push and raw was ok but last weeks smackdown was better

Vince McMahon On 5/25 RAW: "It May Be Held In A Parking Lot"
by Matt Boone
May 18, 2009

The following is from ESPN.com:

Kobe Bryant and the Los Angeles Lakers are scheduled to be at the Pepsi Center in Denver next Monday night.

Problem is, so are John Cena and a bunch of wrestlers — and they called it first.

World Wrestling Entertainment said it is booked at the arena for an episode of Monday Night Raw, the same night the Nuggets are slated to host the Lakers in Game 4 of the Western Conference finals.

WWE chairman Vince McMahon told The Associated Press he doesn’t believe there was “any malice, just ineptness,” on the part of Kroenke Sports, which owns the team and the building, but can’t tolerate the company “just simply throwing us out on our ear.”

Without a quick resolution, McMahon plans to send his trucks to Denver.

“That’s what we intend to do,” he said. “We’re going to show up.”

Pepsi Center officials told the ABC television affiliate in Denver that the Nuggets game will be played as scheduled and that they are working with the WWE to reschedule or move its event.

WWE spokesman Robert Zimmerman said the organization secured the Pepsi Center last Aug. 15 and has already sold more than 10,000 tickets for the event. He says the organization expects a sellout, with tickets ranging from $20 to $70.

McMahon blamed Kroenke for not believing his team was good enough to still be playing in mid-May.

“The fans in Denver had a lot more faith in making the playoffs than the owner,” he said in a phone interview from Louisville, where Raw was taking place later Monday night.

Denver is usually done with basketball by now. The Nuggets had lost in the first round five straight years, but as the No. 2 seed in the West are in the conference finals for the first time since 1985.

The Nuggets referred comment to the NBA, which handles scheduling during the playoffs. Kroenke Sports also had no comment.

However, the league is leaving it up to the team and the WWE to figure things out.

“The Nuggets and the WWE understand that the date of Game 4 of the Western Conference finals cannot be changed,” NBA senior vice president Mike Bass said. “We are confident that the Pepsi Center and the WWE will resolve their scheduling conflict.”

Zimmerman said the Pepsi Center confirmed in March with the WWE that the organization wanted to keep the May 25 date, and sent a contract on April 15 — the final night of the regular season — which WWE signed and returned. Tickets went on sale April 11.

The conflict didn’t arise until Sunday, when the Lakers beat the Houston Rockets in Game 7 of the Western Conference semifinals. Had the Rockets won, Denver would have had home-court advantage in the next round, hosting Games 1 and 2 and putting the May 25 game in Houston.

As of Monday afternoon, the schedule on the Pepsi Center’s Web site listed WWE for 6:30 p.m. local time and Western Conference finals Game 4 at 7 p.m. Tickets for the wrestling event could still be purchased online.

McMahon said he couldn’t guess how much he would make from the show, but that canceling wasn’t easy because of how much is involved in moving his equipment, plus filling its obligated time slot on USA Network. Litigation is likely — but he plans to be putting on a card.

“When you do have a date, you plan everything around it,” he said, adding, “we may be holding an event in a parking lot somewhere.”

i said that a few posts up referring to his promo on the Judgement Day PPV.
but again like you said i need to back it up even more over the top.
the MIZ FUCKING killed on the mic last night !!

I'm glad MVP retained his title. It looks like the baller is going to another long title reign. Cena will be getting a feud with The Legacy soon after Batista.
