There were a couple things that I wasn't ecpecting the past few days:

First, at WrestleMania: Matt winning against Jeff

Jericho winning the handicap match

Cena winning the WHC (cause of it being triple threat and he lost the one at 24)

I won't even go into Santino winning the Divas Battle Royal. But I can see why Trish [Stratus] opted out of attending WrestleMania.

Last night on Raw:

Batista's return. I guess the rest was just a fallout of what happened on sunday. But Batista coming back, I was not expecting (as I assume nobody else was either).

Batista is as boring and one-dimensional as those he came to help out. Looks like post 'Manie letdown for Raw...wake me when backlash is over.

Why in the hell would you not have Orton win the match? It's the biggest show of the year and Orton has been on fire in recent months. This would have put him over the top, in my opinion, but now it completely sets him back. The match felt rushed and then, he lost CLEAN! I have a feeling they are going to try and make it up very soon by having Hunter drop the title either tonight, next week, or the latest at the next PPV, but that's not enough. Blame whatever you want, but this was the weak point of the card to me when expectations were missed by a country mile.
Orton should have won damnit!

Check out Raw...six man tag upcoming, but the title's on the line. If any member of HHH's team (HHHim, Shane and Boretista) gets pinned, HHH loses the title to Orton. Probably HHHimself's idea, as he's been told he has to lose the belt and won't do a clean job for anyone. Steph's a nice piece of tail, but who'd have known she'd be so great for a career? The man lost a pig-slop match to Henry O Godwinn for god's sake! Now he's the (sparing the bold and fireworks here) 13-time world champion.

At any rate, a stupid stipulation, and probably leading into a HHH/Batista feud (read: boooooring) after one of them does a swerve.:dunno:

It smells like Heat/ Shotgun Saturday Night/ etc.

And, I HATE Batista. I was pissed to see him come back. Don't hate him as much as Cena, though....

They have to change things with the draft

You have Jericho Edge Orton Taker michaels HHH Cena Batista Kane Bigshow Hardy

Jericho is very good in the ring, a good heel but even better as a face great mic skills. Edge is a great all rounder Orton too. Taker Michaels hardy are all great to watch and i wouldn't like to see the wwe without them, although hardy is awful on the mic lol. Kane needs some good story lines but hes still good to watch.

HHH needs to get injured again

Cena is 1 step above being useless because he is great on the mic.

and then Batista.
Poor on the mic, even worse in the ring.Does vince like him because of his ability to shake the rope and get the kids excited?.I would rather watch santino dancing around dressed up like a woman for 2 hours than watch batista ever again.

Damn dude, there's certain guys I don't like but I'll never wish for them to be injured. As far as Batista, it's well known that Vince likes the big guys and Batista sells tickets. As long as that's happening then Batista will continue to be on top no matter how much he sucks. Also he is the new Ultimate Warrior, he's one of the worst in the ring but the kids love him. The same way Warrior fans have grown up now realizing that he sucks but still love him, Batista fans will grow up the same way.

TBH- I was expecting him to return at Wrestlemania. I knew he'd been cleared a few weeks prior, and figured they'd save him for the big event. Figured what would go down was during the Orton/Game match the ref would get knocked out, Legacy would charge the ring, Trips would get in serious trouble and that would be Dave's cue... especially since Orton had been the punt to put him out for the past couple months...But, no- to Raw the return went. Oh well.

EXACTLY.... VINCE is in love with BIG guys, always has always will.
even back years ago

Well to be fair the Pig Slop match was punishment and before he was with Stephanie. Now he's a McMahon and can't do any wrong.

I can agree in part...but hell, every once in awhile even one of the lauded McMahons will take a huge bump or a clean pin in the name of a storyline. I know, I know, they're not wrestlers, but c'mon, did you see Vinnie Mac owning Orton at the beginning of their match on Raw?:dunno:

HHH never takes half of the big bumps/attacks/whatever that lead up to a story, and he's always making the save with that stupid sledgehammer of his. He won't do a job for anyone, even an up-and-comer who might advance not only the story, but the longevity of the business because of it. In the case of Orton, HHH dropping the title would have been smart. You could have advanced the Legacy/McMahons storyline so much better that way.

Blame WWE creative, blame HHH's massive ego, or blame...something else. Makes for boring predictable TV.

And people thought Undertaker/Michaels was predictable...

Look at Christian, look at Gail Kim....seems WWE has a sudden knack for botching returns.

Batista back in action!

no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no,

Batista down w/ the Mcmahons and HHH as he made the save at the end of RAW last night! Guess its time for another Batista push!

batista sells tickets and merchandise, and that is what vince likes, money money money, so nomatter how much batista suck in the ring and on the mic, vince will always push him

And, I HATE Batista. I was pissed to see him come back. Don't hate him as much as Cena, though....

I was pissed to see him return to, because i cant stand seeing him in the ring and on the mic, he is boring and only ever does a few moves in every match

but i am not sure who i dislike more, because i dislike both cena and batista a lot, and when i say a lot, i mean a lot

batista sucks, in the ring and on the mic, like i siad before he only has like 2-3 decent moves, other than that he al round is boring

cena, i cant stand him, but he is pretty good on the mic sometimes

edge, is good on the mic and is a great wrestler to watch in the ring

matt hardy, he look so funny in his new wrestling tights, he sucks on the mic, but he si pretty good in the wring

shawn michaels in a decent wrestler but he needs no, just like mysterio get a new finisher because there matches are always so predictable

the undetaker is not one of my favourite wrestlers and i am glad he and michales are going to be taking some time off soon

i never wish for any wrestlers to be injured, i just wish they get let go by the company, or they take time off, or vince moves them to mid card status

Just finished watching Wrestlemania and all I can say is thank God I decided not to pay to watch it live. The only worthwhile match on the entire card was Undertaker/Michaels.

Lately I've enjoyed WWE PPVs because they've managed to incorporate one or two surprises (Edge losing then winning a title at No Way Out, Matt turning on Jeff at the Rumble, etc). This one was too predictable.

Plus why give the briefcase back to Punk? And I'd rather have Big Show as the champ than Cena (again).

who is going to take tazz's place as smackdown commentator with j.r.

Now that he's quit, hopefully JBL will go back to the announce desk where he truly shines.

So far at least until the draft, the Smackdown team is J.R. and Todd Grisham and the ECW team is Matt Striker and Josh Matthews. JBL has said in a blog that he is retired and that he didn't want to go back to commentating.

Was dissapointed with Mania on the whole, however thought the Taker/HBK match was brilliant.
Liked the Hardy encounter and felt it was right that Matt won. Rest of Mania was a poor.

Yeah, they're kinda messed right now in that department. Too bad the Coach left. They can't even get the host right for the new show. The web says Kevin Kelly is hosting, he says he's not. What a mess. Bring back the Brain!:glugglug:
