New World Heavyweight Champion and 16-0 at Wrestlemania: The Undertaker!!!
And there you have it this years Wrestlemania. It's official, the Brothers of Destruction are World Champions of Smackdown and ECW respectively. It's about time for Kane to get another Championship title run. I'm also very happy that neither Triple H or John Cena won the WWE Championship and I hope that CM Punk cashes in his MITB at RAW tomorrow night against Randy Orton. If not then I'm still glad to see Randy Orton as Champion.

i didn't order it i had my friend text me with results.
sounded like an ok show. nothing over the top or spectacular happened.
i am glad Punk won now if someone in the WWE would realize that when you win the money in the bank it gives you a shot at the belt anytime and it should be used wisely...and for a TITLE WIN! not just another match for the current title holder to fend off another opponent.
If punk uses it to face orton and punk loses it would be a waste of time.

I'm hoping that they have Punk use it against Orton and win the title. This way Punk is moved to RAW. It would absolutely ridiculous to have him go for the ECW title again. I'm hoping that tomorrow Triple H and John Cena come to the ring demanding a rematch and CM Punk's music hits and he announces that he is cashing in his MITB. If that happens then he might win. WWE has been known to have the current champion retain the title at the PPV only to lose it 24hrs later on RAW.

i watched wresltmania on a live stream..... a few good matches mitb was awseme... a few terrible matches... the triple threat was complete garbage..trust me on that... i guessed mayweather would win using a chair an that orton would keep the title... if anyone noticed in the past month the crowd hasnt been cheering for HHH like they were 3-4 months ago because i think alot expected him too win it...im glad orton won....

I am glad i got to see rick flairs last match. It was prolly my favorite match of the night. does anyone know if david flair was ringside? i saw his family there and who i thought was david, but if it was him he has put on a few lbs.

I was thinking about ordering Wrestlemania solely for Ric Flair's last match. However decided against it and for reading how the event went I think I should have ordered the show.
Got to see the first 10 mins before encryption which was up until Hornswoggle and Finlay made there way to the ring.
Must say Lilian Garcia looked stunning and from the pics of the other divas I would say Lilian was looking th ebest on the night.

Yeah that was David Flair. I hadn't seen him since he was in WCW and I didn't recognize him at first. He has put on a few lbs.

I honestly must say that the ending to tonight's edition of RAW was awesome. To see the 4 Horsemen, Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat, Greg "The Hammer" Valentine, "The Iceman" (and Horsemen member) Dean Malenko, Flair's Family and the entire WWE roster there to pay respect to one of the greatest wrestlers of all time was awesome. I just wish that with WWE being in Florida, they would've allowed the TNA roster to come as well. There certainly are some guys over there that have wrestled Flair that would've definitely been there. All in all I give tonight's RAW a 10/10.

Yeah,I was thinking about the TNA thing too but yeah tonite was very nice. That was truly a farewell

What happend on Smackdown tonight?

Batista confronted Shawn Michaels about retiring Ric Flair.
Vicky Guerrero decreed that at Backlash it will be Undertaker vs. Edge for the World Heavyweight Championship and Kane vs. Chavo for the ECW Championship. She then made a Champion vs. Champion, Brother vs. Brother match between Undertaker and Kane as the Smackdown main event and said that if they refused to wrestle against each other then they would stripped of their titles. Of course Edge, Chavo, Hawkins, and Ryder all interfered.
Vladimir Koslov debuted.
Michelle McCool won the custom chopper and then Victoria attacked her. Then Nattie Neidhart came out and attacked Michelle McCool. So now we have seen the debut of Nattie Neidhart however the announcers didn't mention her by name they acted clueless as to who she was. I'm excited that she's finally here she already looks like a welcome addition to the diva roster.
Matt Hardy defeated M.V.P.
That's about it, I can't believe I remembered all that. I guess I liked Smackdown last night.

THAT'S who that was ... thanks for the info!

Was the Kane V Undertaker a 2 way title match?

No problem, I figured a lot of people didn't know who she was. She's the first female third generation wrestler and I'm glad to see she's finally here because the WWE needs to bring back actual female wrestlers and have actual female wrestling. The occasional gimmick match is okay but it was much better when you had divas like Trish, Lita, Ivory, Jacqueline, Molly Holly, Jazz, Victoria, and Chyna running around. They really put some thought into their matches and really made it about the Women's Championship. Now you have Victoria, Beth Phoenix, Melina, Candice, and Michelle McCool and even Torrie Wilson. However with a less emphasis on the title. I will give the benefit of the doubt to Maria cause it looks like she's really learning how to wrestle (even Trish started out as a manager and Candice as eye-candy.) However look at Wrestlemania, when Trish was here it was always about the Championship but instead they had a tag team bunny match. Are you telling me they couldn't have Maria vs. Melina and Beth defending her title against someone else or even making it a four way dance with the title on the line? Like I said I think Nattie Neidhart will be a welcome addition to the diva roster and I hope they bring more like her.

I have a question. Did anyone else realize that Vladimir Koslov's opponent on Smackdown was Shawn Michaels' cousin Matt Bentley from TNA? I don't remember ever reading that he got a contract, maybe it was tryout match. I know WWE does that from time to time with wrestler's who left other promotions.

Finally watched Wrestlemania last night. Had been avoiding this thread and all WWE programming like the plague till I got a chance to see it. Just wouldn't have enjoyed it had I known the results beforehand. Thought I'd share a few thoughts:

- Someone needs to get JBL a bra. Before long his moobs will rival Viscera's. He also needs to go back to the announce table because as a wrestler, he's pants.

- CM Punk is the new Mr Money in The Bank. Am very disappointed to be honest. Unless they push him to the moon, there's no way he can challenge for anything other than the ECW belt. Why Jeff!?! Why!?!:( This match was yours for the taking! Thought they'd at least give it to Kennedy, since he never got the chance to cash his in.

- Could the ECW belt be more worthless?

- You Rock Umaga!

- Bunnymania match - horrendous waste of time. This could have easily been done on ECW. The water balloon fight on Smackdown last week was more entertaining. The very arena itself was embarassed judging by how the lights went out halfway through. And Ashley, for the love of God, eat something! Your implants look ridiculous on that skeletal frame of yours.

- Great entrance by the Nature Boy. Not his best match, but probably his most memorable. How I will miss you Naich. This man was the greatest heel EVER to step into the ring. I remember literally hating him as a young wrestling fan back in the 90s. "How dare you steal Macho Man's woman!". Will miss the stutter-step and how he would get beat up in the corner, take a few steps and then drop like log.:rofl2: Thank You Naich.

- Cena - best entrance of the night. He's the one who needs new entrance music though, not Kennedy. Kennedy's was perfect.

- Orton Retains! Ortorn Retains! :nanner:

- Mayweather V Big Show. Didn't care about it before, didn't care about it during, and certainly didn't care afterward.

- Taker V Edge: This is probably the match that saved this from being the worst Wrestlemania on record. Full of drama, near falls, reversals, unconscious refs, foreign objects... Pure Wrestling Gold! A story was told in the ring and I was completely sucked in - was literally jumping out of my seat with every twist. Have gained an even greater respect for the Rated-R Superstar, who put on a superb match. Can't wait for the inevitable Backlash rematch.

So all in all not the best Wrestlemania ever, but it had it's moments. Next year's is bound to be better.

I agree with every single one of those statements. Wrestlemania 25 has to be better and I've heard rumors that Stone Cold might have one more match left in him and they are looking at the 25th anniversary for him to do it.
