Here's some interesting news straight from the Wrestling Observer Newsletter:

- Right now the current plan is to have the Batista vs. Umaga match end controversially at WrestleMania with Umaga switching to SmackDown to continue the program. The long-term plan is for Undertaker to defend the world title against Umaga at SummerSlam this August.

Breaking News: Jeff Hardy has been suspended for 60 days for violating the WWE's wellness policy. This is his second suspension, if he violates the wellness policy for third time he will be fired. This is the reason he dropped the Intercontinental Championship to Chris Jericho last night on RAW. He has also been effectively removed from the Money in the Bank ladder match at Wrestlemania 24. As much as I like Jeff Hardy, he has blown a golden opportunity to possibly move up in the company with this act of stupidity.

The following blog has been posted by Matt Hardy on his myspace:

source Matt Hardy:
"I know two people of different genders who are in a dilemma at this time. One of these individuals I am extremely close with-the other one I used to be. The thing that worries me is that they're both playing around in the deep water and can't swim. I can swim."
We can all pretty safely assume that one of them is Jeff Hardy. The other one I believe with a very strong possibilty is Ashley Massaro who has been missing from WWE television for a while. Matt dated her when she first started with WWE. If you all remember Ashley was heavily involved with the Maria/Playboy angle but then she disappeared and Candice became involved. Again she wasn't at RAW last night to be apart of Wrestlemania Rewind night. Last week Ashley was "sent home" by WWE. The story she gives on her myspace is that she has a hand injury. While the injury is legit from what I've heard it isn't bad enough to be sent home and she can very well perform.

I'd should of said "about to fight again". I like that Jillians gimic makes fun of stupid slutty talentless popstars but man is she anoying.

I liked Jillian's gimmick at the start but now it is just annoying. She should just go back to wrestling with the other divas and keep her mouth shut.

Breaking News: Jeff Hardy's house burns down. His house in North Carolina has burned to the ground and he lost everything. Jeff and his family were not in the house when it burned down. Matt Hardy discovered the smoke but by the time he got to the house it was already too late. There was one casulty of the fire however, Jeff's dog was in the house. I know some people see their pets as a member of the family so I know this is probably going to be hard for Jeff. I hope that between this and his suspension Jeff can bounce back a beat his personal problems.

i watched RAW last night and i have to say....as it has been said in previous posts i doubt i am getting wrestlemania. i have not missed one in my life. but this years card absolutely stinks!
i hope jericho wins the money in the bank and they realize he IS the guy to give the belt to.(but they won't).
any other opinions?

I can't believe that I'm not going to be watching Wrestlemania this year but I absolutely refuse to pay for something that I'm going to want to turn off. I was hoping that Jericho would lose the Intercontinental to Big Show last night so that he would focus more on the Money in the Bank match but oh well. Jericho should be the winner of that match but it will probably be CM Punk or Mr. Kennedy. Shawn Michaels almost always puts on great matches at Wrestlemania but why is he going up against Ric Flair. Ric Flair should be going after the Championship in what is probably his final match. Triple H should not involved in the title match and neither should John Cena. Undertaker vs. Edge might be decent but we all know Undertaker will win. (it is sacred after all.) On that note, I know there is a title involved but shouldn't it be streak vs. streak and not streak vs. title. Edge is also undefeated at Wrestlemania and in my opinion that would go over more with the fans because someones streak is going to be broken. The bunny match makes absolutely no sense because only Candice and Maria have been in Playboy not Melina and Beth Phoenix. Maybe if Candice came back jealous of Maria and challenged her it would make more sense, kind of like when Sable came back and challenged Torrie Wilson. Candice should be challenging Beth Phoenix for the title sense that was the last match Candice was in before the injury but oh well. The Big Show vs. Floyd Mayweather is a joke. Randy Orton is known as the legend killer and should've said that he will retire Ric Flair at Wrestlemania which would prompt that match but no we get the triple threat which doesn't even involve Flair. I think I've stated my case on why I hate this years Wrestlemania.

i think hhh will win also but i want orton too win...

yea jericho needs a push kennedy needs a push...but we all know the focus will be on hhh...1 thing i noticed

hhh was NOT "FASTER STRONGER AN BETTER" than he was before... w.e he will still win

Some of the card looks okay as matches but the story surrounding them I don't like. For me Flair should be retired by an upcoming star like MVP or Kennedy, move them to the next level by achieving a major victory. The divas match is just to play off Maria being in playboy so she has to have a match somewhere and with Candice coming back a gimmick match with the 2 of them together seems a decent idea.
If Rey hadn't been injured the Mayweather angle could have been very good but WWE couldn't scrap it completely due to the huge fee being paid to Mayweather.
I think Hardy was going to win Money in the Bank before his suspension. Think they will give the victory to Kennedy or MVP as they seem to be next in line to get elavated to main event. Jericho has been there already and doesn't need MITB. Carlito and Benjamin seem to get a small push then it is back to nothing for a couple of months. It looks as though Punk is going to start a feud with Edge soon but as I think Edge will lose to Taker no poin tin Punk taking the win. Which leaves Morrison who may be due a push but hasn't been in much singles action so it would be most likely his next singles feud will be with The Miz.

CM punk needs to be moved to RAW i like the guy but i never remember or watch ecw.
wrestling is in that down period right now. just like it was for a few years before the "attitude" era came into it's own. atleast we don't have to deal with the like of abe knuckleball schwartz and Men on a mission, fake undertakers and just some real bad hack gimics.
they need to get back to that perfct mix of storyline/storyline telling and wrestling. back in those days you HAD to watch cause if you missed it you would look like a dumbass.
i remember i used to tape (yes vcr tape) RAw and watch Nitro on mondays.then on tuesday after work watch Raw. but all the guys i worked with were doing Austin 3:16 stuff from the night before and tell me in detail what happened and i would think to myself why i watched Nitro just to see the NWO destroy the whole show (i actually watched WCW for the Cruiserweights) and i was always like 1 day behind. it took a couple of weeks before i started taping nitro and watching raw live! :hatsoff:

I agree with this article, that in this week's Raw the lines between heel and face were completely blurred. Jericho is now back to his cocky arrogant self and got intentionally DQ'd, Big Show continues to have absolutely zero heel heat and Spanky walked out on London (as if he could ever make it on his own on Raw :1orglaugh). Was an interesting show, though it did little to change my mind about how dismal this year's Wrestlemania will be.

I have to agree with that article as well. I kept trying to figure out why in the hell did Brian Kendrick leave Paul London. If they are splitting up the tag team then there goes their career because what else are they going to do. The Cruiserweight division is non-existent at the moment so they'll have to be sent to Heat which is online and always forget about. In my opinion WWE needs to keep there tag team division intact because they practically have nobody and some guys are only watchable as a tag team, just look at Charlie Haas. I still don't know why they had Jericho disqualify himself, they could've had the Big Show do that. I also have to agree that Santino Marella is very entertaining. When he stole Jerry Lawler's Subway sandwich I was lmao.

Raw did nothing this week to maybe peak my interest, and put some doubt in my head about NOT getting Wrestlemania!
i still can't believe this is going to be the 1st WM that i don't watch at all
