Worst movie / film of all time

Re: worst movie you ever seen

Land of the Dead. What a total disappointment.

Ultraviolet
Bloodrayne

Any Uwe Bohl movie for that matter rates in the top ten at any given moment.

All the Matrix films.
Titanic
Judge Dread
Karate Kid
Dune
Do you want me to carry on ?

Dude... while Titanic wasn't the best it wasn't the worst either.
Judge Dredd... bad but a cool no brainer sci-fi action movie
Karate Kid? Now you're crossing the line. Yeah it's dated but that was a great movie for it's time.
DUNE? I assume you're talking about the David Lynch one. Didn't stick to the book in all aspects but still a great sci-fi movie.

There are so many to list, where do I start?
Star Wars - Episode 1

95% of that movie was god awful. But the over choreographed lightsaber battle at the end made it worth watching. Thank god for chapter selection with DVD's so you don't have to fats forward through the entire movie to get to it.

Same goes for the other two prequels. The acting sucked in all of the movies. The backstory was terrible. The "romance" thing made no sense (not to mention the ambiguous age difference). The effects, while great, were the epitome of overkill.

I could rant for days on this one, but my most recent was "The Machinist" with that guy from Batman Begins and Equilibrium. It was garbage, started nowhere, pretty much went nowhere, and didn't explain a damn thing.

Really? I guess you have to appreciate what he went through to get himself looking the way he did... and then build himself back up to look like he did in Batman. Christian Bale is a great actor and I thought that movie was pretty wild. Definitely different.

How about Batman and Robin?
And Batman Returns and Batman Forever. Batman Begins was the best one of all the Batman movies. I think Nicholson was overrated as the Joker and the movie itself was good at the time but almost painful to watch now.

The Specialist with Stallone. 5 minutes into it I wanted to blow myself up.

While the movie sucked and the acting was horrible, it was one of only three movies where Sharon Stone was hot enough to jerk off too. I can't stand her in any movie I see her in, but she had her days of hotness... just not many.

Jaws the Revenge
any comedy Sylvester Stallone was in

How can anyone argue those?

Re: Worst movie of all time

Slither, total shitfest.

MADNESS!! It was a good movie for exactly what it was intended to be. A gofy horror movie that isn't meant to be taken seriously. Cool, weird SF/X. And let's not forget Nathan "Malcolm Reynolds" Fillion was in it.

Re: Worst movie of all time

Starship Troopers that was like a very bad "B" Movie best thing I can say about it was Denise Richards showed us her tits along with a bunch of other hot as hell chicks. But the movie sucked ass.

Re: Worst movie of all time

I don't know if this has been mentioned but I have to bring up "Rhinestone" starring two of America's greats: Sly Stallone and Dolly Parton.

I don't know if it would be considered the worst, but anyone who has seen it will put it up in the top 10. It's a must-see shitfest...you also get to see Sly sing!

Batman Returns was the best of them all...but I did like Batman Returns a bit. I always felt Jim Carrey would have made a better Joker than Jack was.

Re: Worst movie of all time

I love reading about how many people said that Star Wars:Episode I sucked, yet it made $430 million dollars in the US, people dont go to see a movie they hated, nor do they go just to see the last 20 minutes of a movie, so obviously alot more people liked it than not. Ok now bring on all the SW geek jokes. Im not saying everyone loved the movie, and everyone is, of course entitled to their opinion. But please, stop making it sound like NOBODY liked the movie.

I have no comment on the movie since I've never seen it and certainly have no geek jokes. Actually I have never seen any of the Star Wars type movies. No my taste. Anyway that aside and not to "argue" but don't you have to see something before you can say you like it or not? So to me your comment on the money it did or didn't make holds no merit. So maybe in some peoples opinion a big part of the $430 million that it netted was a waste of money? Since I am sure all that paid to see it didn't care for it. Who cares? You like what you like, watch it and enjoy it, its a free country.

Battlefield Earth or The Perfect Storm. Or the perennial favorite, Waterworld. Ah, Costner and his golden touch...

Blind devotion. It was special effects poorly disguised as a movie. Plus people were so starved for the continuation of the story (franchise) they would have accepted it with open arms if it was all done with claymation. Plus the people that made the trailer did an amazing job (as most of them) in covering up the stench of the lousy plot and piss poor acting. One thing kept this movie from being a complete failure.. Darth Maul.

George Lucas is the ultimate sheep herder.
