Worst films you have seen

I would have to agree with House of the Dead; although you have to love this gem of writing.

Alicia: You did all this to become immortal. Why?
Castillo: To live forever!

and,

"let's face it, we're dealing with zombies here,"

Alone in the Dark was pure awful from what I've heard. I have a pure and deep hatred for the director Uwe Boll. As someone who aspires to make movies it's insulting that not only does he continue to get work, but he gets more money, time, better casting, etc. after failing...twice. I knew House of the Dead was going to suck but sometimes I'll watch for the sheer lunacy of it. For instance I think Torque and Saw (horrendous acting) are incredible comedies. A movie I hate the most, and it's even critically acclaimed is Romper Stomper. Piece...of...shit. :ak47:

In Tremors 3's defence, it's a lot better than Tremors 4....

PS: The Haunting remake (with Catherine Zeta-Jones & Liam Neeson) - that SUCKED big-time...

Worst movies I've ever seen:

Van Helsing
The Pacifier
XXX 2
Resident Evil 2

and No.1 forever..... Freddie Got Fingered.

Thunderbirds (currently on Sky movies)....
Boy, does it stink to high heaven. What was Frakes thinking of when he directed this crap????

My least liked movie would have to been Star Wars Episode I. It wasn't the worst movie of all time. I was just let down more by that than any other movie ever.

Not quite - I thought it was better than "Plan 9 From Outer Space" & "Catwoman"......... (just)

This makes interesting reading. All the movies listed are basicly proper studio movies that people didn't like. Usually because they had expected better.

For realy awfull movies you need to look at the B-movies that Holliwood wants to forget.

"Plan 9 From Outer Space" mentioned above is stunningly boreing. Luckly it was on tv so we turned it off after 20mim.

The worst film I got draged into the cinema to see was "Turkey Shoot". This was so bad that when they showed a war plane doing it's job what took off was an Electric Lightening, while it was flying it was a F111 and when it droped it's bombs it was a Phantom. What a stelth system.

Also Peter Greenaway's "Prospero's Books" comes to mind. This was spoilt by the fact that Greenaway had Sir John Gielgood (a dam good actor) speek every single line, not just his own but everyones. After 5 min I hadn't a clue who was saying what to who.

Turkey Shoot - and the Horror Channel still keep showing that...ahem...turkey.

Seriously though - my :2 cents: :
I think people feel sorry for the B-movies like "Plan 9" - or Glen or Glenda, Wasp Woman, Beast from Haunted Cave, Snowbeast, The Playbirds, Confessions from the David Galaxy Affair, Night of the Lepus, Kingdom of the Spiders and the like. One could go on listing these movies - but in all honesty it would be shooting fish in a barrel. These movies were awful from the outset and everyone knew it.

Studio movies like Catwoman, Thunderbirds & Showgirls on the other hand are hyped to the heavens, and fall to the earth with a mighty THUD! when they are exposed as bilge. These movies really deserve our contempt.

i was crunked when i went to see 'the cave' prolly thats why it sucked... but even then.. i think it was weak.. skeleton key sucked ASS,...and so did dark water.. kingdom of heaven was gay. and really boring, and war of the worlds was just meh. for me.

If I hadn't had my friend who wanted to see the movie so badly I would've walked out and left the Transporter 2, that was pure crap.

The first movie I saw that was complete crap was Judge Dread. I remember i even skipped school to watch that. Horrible.

I also hated Napoleon Dynomite. I was watching it on dvd, and i started to flip channels while watching it. Just so slow and lame.

I know this might sound weird (cause everybody loves it, and I mean everybody), but I thought Kill Bill, and especially the hype around it, was a heap of shite! No offense, but if it were´nt for Uma, the Film would have nothing at all to it.

The worst movie of all time...hmm I have quite a long list. Heres my list for movies that were actually released by major motion picture companies.

1. XXX 1 & 2
2. Resident Evil 1 & 2
3. Kill Bill 1 & 2

Happy I am not alone

Three recent ones...
1. Beauty Shop (stunk like a bad perm!)
2. Monster In Law (a lot of nothing)
3. Land Of The Dead (just didn't take off and ending was disappointing.
