Worst films you have seen

I recently watched John Carpenter's 'Dark Star', which I thought was pretty awful.

I am glad someone brought that movie up. It's not the worst ever for me, but for a movie that got a lot of critical acclaim, I hated it. It could have ended at 4 different times, but it just seemed the writers, producers and director just tried to squeeze as much out of the movie as they could. And it came off really annoying. It's like, "Whew, the girl dies...but she's not dead" Please stop! There was really bad character development and just creepy things that didn't make sense. A lot like The Grudge, another bad, creepy movie from the guy who brought you The Ring.

Is that the original Japanese Ringu? Or the US remake?

Id like to know what asiandudes idea of a good movie is....while his list includes some pretty dreadful films, it seems he just doesnt like entertaining movies in general, cause that list includes some pretty entertaining films....and isnt that the point of a movie, to entertain us?

just a few here.. I can't remember most of the shitty movies i've seen, i've blocked them from the mind...

the single worst movie i've ever seen is House of the Dead.
another terrible movie is Bram Stoker's Dracula. Anthony Hopkins being a badass was the only thing that saved that movie. everything else about it was bad. and it also has keanu reeves, the worst actor in history. and i'm doing him far too great of a compliment by calling him an 'actor' since he simply cannot act. period.

On par with that movie was Revenge of the Sith.

lastly, while it was overall a good movie, I hated the end of War of The Worlds. that's the stupidest ending ever. it may have worked in the 1800's when people didn't know shit, but it makes absolutley no sense to anyone that can comprehend the idea of logic.

PS. I think freddy got fingered was genius. The title has absolutly nothing to do with the movie, and it has no plot. the difference between this movie and other suckasses is that it was purposely intended to be one of the worst movies ever made.that's why it was awesome. as opposed to all the movies that we've named which some assholes actually thought would be good, and that's what makes them suck even more.

PPS. Michael Moore made a movie about how it's fucked up that kids kill each other with guns. What an asshole!
Instead of putting enough information into a movie to take up two hours of screen time to support my point of view like moore did, I'm going to counter his arguements by critisizing him for being overweight! haha. look how much smarter I am! Viva Bush!

What movie did in my list did you think was entertaining and good. Because the movie had to be entertaining and good, thats just how I see it. Plus its my opinion and you have your I'm sorry if I offended you Dudes, but movies with no plot, bad acting, bad writing and over the top action squences are just not my thing. I thought I had seen some really stupid movies until I saw "Gone Fishin" with Danny Glover and Joe Peschi. That movie was just RETARDED.

Saw Spielbergs "War of the Worlds" on Monday - hated it so much, I went searching for the George Pal version on DVD instead.
I thought the ending on A.I. was bad, but this ending...AAARRRGGGHHH!!!!!

Just the other day I was talking to my brother in law about one of the worst movies ever. It's from 1985 and called 'Gymkata'. It stars Kurt Thomas who was an outstanding gymnast.

Plot summary from IMDB.com

Johnathan Cabot is a champion gymnast. In the tiny, yet savage, country of Parmistan, there is a perfect spot for a "star wars" site. For the US to get this site, they must compete in the brutal "Game". The government calls on Cabot, the son of a former operative, to win the game. Cabot must combine his gymnastics skills of the west with fighting secrets of the east and form GYMKATA!

It's soooo bad that it's good.

Freddy vs Jason is terrible. I thought 50 First Dates was stupid and so is What Women Want.
