I think it´s more a case of that everyone is assuming that on a board with over 400000 members there´s got to be at least 5-10 people who does video editing for a living and if any of those enter the competition there´s really no point for anyone else to enter because there would be zero chance of winning. At least that´s the way i´m reasoning, i really don´t feel like spending a ridiculous amount of time making something that most probably would turn out looking like complete crap if i don´t think i would have any chance to win.
