Why Aren't More Americans Cooking With Blood? Everyone Else Is Doing It

My mother-in-law makes a great Filipino dish called Chocolate Pork. There is no chocolate or poop in it but the sauce has blood. Before the first time I ate it I had a pot of it in the truck for a 2+ hour drive. It smelled so good I was willing to have some. My mother-in-law is an amazing cook, so amazing her cooking seems to intimidate the other Filipina ladies. Anyway, read this article and try to keep an open mind.
