They've been playing "Dr Who: The Tom Baker Years" on Sci-Fi the past couple of weeks and it's still excellent even after all these years. :nanner:

I loved that series growing up.

David Tennant was awesome as the Doctor and Matt Smith has been great too, I remember growing up and PBS showing Dr. Who and they always seem to be episodes with Tom Baker as the Doctor so he is in my top 3 as well!

I've not watched the program in years, but the local PBS station where I grew up used to show it all the time, and the one I grew up with is the best IMHO, and that would be none other than the one and only Tom Baker!

Funny, when growing up, a friend of mine was all into Doctor Who and I just passed it off as another form of nerdery (he was a tremendous nerd but a good friend anyway), but I started watching when it 'came back' in '06 with Christopher Eccleston as The Doctor.
- I was channel surfing and Rose (Billie Piper) caught my eye. "Hello, who's this?"
Next thing I knew, the show had my attention and I've been watching since.

Since I can only refer to the 3 Doctors I've watched, I still prefer David Tennant. I loved his intensity and the way he played the role. Matt Smith is doing well and I like him too, but not as much by comparison. Tennant really set the bar high, in my opinion.
