Well I must say that I asked myself the same question when I first read the thread, but, as you can see, we already have several lists. Not that anyone stated he would ‘do’ the men on his list, but nonetheless.

Lisa’s question obviously hit the mark, and the number of replies just goes to prove it. Perhaps the aspiration that inspired the creation of this thread was not to see the listing of the names, but to list the names brazen enough to post their lists.
Or maybe I’m just wrong and Lisa really was interested in the names that would come up, weather they are the ones on the list or the ones that listed. Either way – list-posters ended up on Lisa’s list, for the time being, until a new list is created.

However, I cannot grasp the notion of someone putting his own name on all five places. Most unpleasant it seems. So in that regard I agree with our fellow list-creator McRocket, who, as of late, posted several replies. You are intrigued by this too, yes?

So what happened to the listing of the lists (or the lists listing if you like the sound of that better)?

I truely enjoy my visits to FreeOnes, but I do understand a girl has her place in men's arenas, and perhaps my exuberance to join the fun of some of the Threads has made my initial acceptance by FreeOnes a pink elephant now.

If FreeOnes, can, will, and wants to ban and erase this Thread and all other remarks that I have posted in other Threads, I will accept that banning. I hold no grudges and have throroughly enjoyed my bit of frolicking at FreeOnes.

With that said, perhaps I should start a POLL here on these Threads and have it run for 60 days .... Call it: Do you support the banning of Lisa Lucie. In that way, my peers, if I may call them such, can tell me what they really want to do with me.

Futher, my life can get so confusing, that somedays, I just "hermit" it up a bit and I don't know who I want to be or to whom I want to share my life. Personally, I do love men, but I also love beautiful women. (Well at least one woman in a sexual way.) If you think that confuses you and makes you feel uncomfortable .... you should have seen Lucie's eyes the other night when I was arm in arm with Fang! I think of myself as heterosexual with a plus.

I am pleased that you posted this thread. One) you are apparently a woman - nice change around here. Two) the question got some people - including me - to think a bit. Also, a nice change. and Three) you seem to wear your heart at least partially on your sleeve. And there are not NEARLY enough people in the world that do that - imo..

Guys make lists like this all the time. And as you are NO doubt aware; sex is a FAR different dynamic for a woman then a heterosexual man. I wouldn't want anyone putting any part of their body inside of me unless I knew them VERY well.

Do you know how annoying it can be when you walk to a girl with chivalry attitude only to realize that she is into ‘new and popular’ things. I admit – I am called old fashioned all the time (actually my friends refer to me as ‘our 16th century friend), but only so many females will find honesty and straightforwardness appealing. They will realize the quality of it at one point or another in their life, but… The question is – when?

I am sorry to cut this reply short, but there are some things I have to take care of.

The qualities that were a reference for your original list were one of the first things that drew my attention. Being a ‘gentleman to the bone’ does not seem to be appreciated any more.

The only problem is that – if that is who you are (and have no intention of changing since you’re not about to betray your beliefs) – you have to be very patient in finding the ‘one’.

Do you really think so? I used to have the same opinion but have experienced that once girls (or rather women, at my age) get to know you they really don't care about anything but who you are. No big mouth, no big car, no great looks. These things may be what catches their eye, but I think one of the main differences between men and women is that they do indeed look for honesty, politeness, and a fellow soul, while men often are blinded by sex appeal and wake up from that reverie once they realize that good-looking girl they brought home is indeed a brainless, greedy, selfish bimbo. That's the extreme case of course, but you get the picture.

But the only problem is reaching that stage where the girls will appreciate you for who you are. It is maybe just my bad experience with such cases, but I found myself time and again in a position to see the girls with great potential run with some guys who only have material wealth.
Besides if those shallow things are what the girl is looking for, You Might be facing a choice weather or not to try and change her aspirations (if there are any to begin with).

I typically do not visit FreeOnes during the typical work day and when the witching hour arrives it is a wonderful surprise to see unexpected new lists from others.

I have a few laps that I need to take care of at the moment but also have a few moments before those laps.

Yes, I understand, like saint above, that many are entertained, but I am not a one girl show. I need five to a list. So keep those cards and letters coming.

Speaking of lists, I do have a new list that will become public after my exercises. I am going to wait until after my run, just in case I see a runner who may bump another off the list. Nothing I hate worst than changing a published list. (I really don't mind doing it, but pretending that I don't like doing it, stings a bit.) I run faster than most so it easy for me to catch up with short-lived potentials. Of course, I also slow down when the chase calls for it.

I was in a bit of a mood during my last post, and therefore feel like I haven’t really replied properly to my fellow poster (not that there was a call for me ‘replying’).
And, so, I will try to remedy that.

I completely understand your change of heart, Vegas Yankee, regarding women’s tendencies to alter their attitude after they get to know you.

I dated this girl… well, woman, to be more precise. I was 23 and she was 30 (she looked 25, though). I already had a job and all the things that come with that. But she really liked me for who I was. She was a type of girl that found chivalry an admirable quality. Like you said – no tons of cash, no fast car – just the kind of person you are was all that mattered.
Now, in the more recent relationship, I went out with a girl that was my age-mate and saw an exact opposite to all the perspectives of the above mentioned lady. Suffice to say – the relationship, or rather a ‘fling’ lasted no more than a couple of days.

But, the ‘one’ I dated started out just like that – young, restless, and wanting to experience everything. She did not care about chivalry in the least. More so – she found it silly. However, our relationship lasted 6 years, and as she grew – so did her attitudes suffer some ‘evolving’.
Some few weeks after we started dating and as she got to know me better (and realize I wore, and still do, my heart on my sleeve) she started to appreciate that honesty and sincere feelings.
Like you described.
Yet, even though she lifted me to heavens, I went through a personal hell during the course of our relationship, and therefore am not too thrilled at the prospect of waiting to see if some girl will have the patience to get to know me better…

Funny, even after all I still stayed true to my beliefs. After all – that is who I am and cannot/will not change it. Perhaps it’s the same with some females, for better or for worse…

Oh, and one more thing - congratulation on your 1,000 post. I know I'm 11 posts late, but hey...

Today my TOP 5 was changed just at posting time thanks to the advice of Mr.-Comes-With-Instructions, FreeOnes Mr. Peter Gazinya. He holds the bottom rung of my list by a nose ... and he better watch where he holds that nose too.

My TOP 5:

1. Narcissus - He would not make demands on me when I have a headache.

2. Kind of Diamonds - Not sure if he knows it, but he is also my best friend.

3. Charlie Tuna - We have a bit in common, he and I. He would love me whether I am all cleaned up or just in from running.

4. Mr. Clean - He practices safe sex.

5. Peter Gazinya in a twofer with Pinochio!

A girl may be able to do better, but I am quite pleased for at least 24 hours, and I would love to hear from anyone who dares he/she can top mine. Maybe we can even swap a few. That is always fun. I do have some extras that have not made the list yet.

Remember, if I were you, I would not repeat an entry with one on someone's existing list. So read the lists in the many postings above to be sure. That is not my rule. That is a FreeOnes rule, I think ... well, at least someone told me it was anyway ... and he told me he read it somewhere. Not sure, really ... better use SEARCH for that bit of fact finding mission and get back with me.

One exception to above suggestion: There is a guy above that does repeat "me" again and again, but I don't think he is refering to either you or me, so you can pick "me" if you like, but not me, as I am female ... pick "me" if you mean you but not him and only if you are male. He confuses me a lot but I think he knew it would and he teases ... well, he teases ..... "me".

I’m not sure I can top your list, but I can put an effort in creating a suggestion-list for all the potential list-creators:

Mr. Schwarzenegger – the actual act would last really long since he would always ‘be back’

Mr. Reeves – since he is ‘the one’ the acrobatics he can do would surely add to the thrill of the ride

My precious – the lust for him would never be lost

Mr. Bale – as of late he can ‘find his way’ in the dark as sure as if it were a middle of the day.

Mr. Jackman – since he is indestructible you could pretty much do anything to him, and he wouldn’t mind
