What's Your Favorite Browser?

I normally use Internet Explorer (having converted from Netscape long ago -- it just gets clunkier and slower all the time), but I am trying Mozilla's Firefox browser right now. It's fast and nice, but it's not as full featured as Internet Explorer, although it does have a nice pop-up blocker. It sucks that the Google toolbar cannot be used with Firefox!! A friend of mine once also linked me to another cool new browser, but for the life of me I cannot recall the name of it.

So, what's your favorite web browser? Do you have any nice alternatives to Internet Explorer and Netscape?

I use Firefox and IE. I use IE most often because I'm the most familiar with it and there are some sites that aren't designed to be viewed by browsers other than IE or NS so I just find it easier to use IE.

same here I love the tabbing on firefox plus the fact that you could easily switch from one search engine to another but you still need IE for some sites and there does not seem any reason to use netscape unless as a backup. I'm sure there might be better browsers around but I am lazy to check them too.. there probably is a porn browser somewhere...hmmm...lol

Whether you like MS or not, their browser is the most universal app ever created for the internet, and is more compatible with sites than all other browsers...hell, maybe even combined.

And Netscape? Well, Netscape just sucks. Slowww....


Mozilla's kinda neat, but I didn't screw around too much with it, as I am just used to IE.

I use MAXTHON (also known as MYIE)... a browser based on IE but with a lot a better functions like popup blocker, tabbed navigation and a lot of nice features (to me)

Ah hah! Here's the other one I've tried. Avant. It's tres cool as well! I think it was Famousbabes who hooked me up with this one a while back. It's a small download too! Very nice.

Nightfly, I used Avant for a while, too. I really liked it but after a while it started to cause problems. Someone also told me that it uses IE to actually browse or something weird like that... :dunno:

Am I the only one using Opera ? I like, that you can save a session or start where you stopped last time. It´s blocking popups, too.
I.E. is also good. Netscape is slow as hell .
That´s the three I tested so far...

If you're responsible for the approximate 1.6 million hits on FreeOnes using Opera (see pic above with all the stats), you're the only one using Opera on this site....lol But yeah, you're the first to admit to using that browser here. lol

I've heard it's a decent browser and I might check it out!!! Sometimes, for fun, I use an old-ass version of Netscape while just surfing...it's fast as hell!! lol :hatsoff:

Firefox is great for specialized surfing (like downloading, etc.), but I generally sick with IE for general browsing. It doesn't crash and displays almost every website perfectly.
