What was your favorite candy as a kid?

I used to eat my share of candy as a youngin. Some of my favorites were lickemaide (where you dip the candy stick into the yummy sour powder), Abba Zabba's, Now and Laters, and of course Bottle Caps!

I used to like those candy cigarettes and the Wacky Packages too - both gum but they were all the rage back then.

I liked Big league chew and those gum cigars. yup, i wanted to be a nicotine junkie when I grew up.

I like the original laughie taffies, where they came in like 6 or 8 flavors in individually wrapped squares in this long rectangle package. I'm pretty sure that they don't make those anymore.

later on they had these taffy bars that were called tangy taffy, and then those became laughie taffy, even though they were the same, the name just changed.

I also liked fun dip and nerds. oh yeah, and baby lucas. I don't know if they have that everywhere, it's actually pretty disgusting stuff. it's this mexican candy. the original lucas is like basically just citric acid and salt that is lime flavored, and then they had a hot chili flavored, and the baby lucas was part chili and part sugar.

I also really like abba zabba because it's wierd, and it's hard to find around here. I first had it when I was like 13, even though it's really not that good. ever had the apple flavored one? it's pretty gross. I also liked charleston chew. and of course twizzlers. blow pops. candy corn. orange slices. cinnamon bears.

I always hated now and laters, and airheads even more. they seemed like shitty versions of starburst to me.

i'm a fiend for sugar, I eat candy all the time still. I have so many damn cavities. the dentist is going to be pissed.

Favorites as a kid were Kit Kat, Reese's Peanut Butter cups, Hershey's w/ Almonds.

Haven't changed much either. (Except for Reese's...YUCK)

Those chewy bars (Vimto, Wham, Irn-Bru, refreshers) were always something I liked as a kid.

Wispa Gold and Wispa Mint were faves on the Chocolate side.
