I'm sure there has been a fav 80's movie thread but my question to you is what is your fav 80's cult classic? For me its definately Better Off Dead, its cheesy but one of the funniest 80's movies i have ever seen from beginning to end.If you watch it stoned its that much better, I bought it on Blu-ray yesterday and it inspired me to start this thread. :) Now I want your 2 dollars on the topic!

Pulp Fiction

WTF is going on in this thread?!?!

Back To The Future? That's a cult classic??? Breakfast Club too? Am I confused as to what a cult classic is?

Pulp Fiction is from '94, unless there is another film under the same name.

Chumba Wumba??? WTF?!?!?!? That's not even a movie? Did you get knocked down when you were younger or something?

I am sorry for submitting a story when it should have been a "cult" following.

Forgive me...

I like the movie "Suzanne Somers's ThighMaster" which appeared on the "Home Shopping Network" for years and now is a classic.

After all these years, I still enjoy watching women using the "thighmaster."

Overlooked the '80s part....my bad. Was 'multitasking' on thumping another GOPer apologist at the time. Surely taking on that task is worthy of forgiveness.

Those two Brian DePalma movies? ...

The first one was with Nancy Allen, Angie Dickinson and Michael Caine in Dressed to Kill in 1980.
The second one was with Melanie Griffith, Craig Wasson and Gregg Henry in Body Double in 1984.

... would these be considered cult classics?? :dunno:
