Cult Movies are not fucking mainstream you miserable peices of shit!
........Sorry, Doc says too much Caffeine makes me edgy.
But he's an asshole.

Mine is probably Over the Edge and The Outsiders.
And for horror its Phantasm

Both of mine come from the horror genre.

Evil Dead 2- Sam Raimi and Bruce Campbell made a true gem of a horror film and added that slapstick/dark humor that was great about the Evil Dead series and it gave birth to a great Horror Icon.

Texas Chainsaw Massacre Part 2- I loved Tobe Hoopers approach to this. He added tons of dark humor into this sequel(They even spoofed the Breakfast Club in their poster) and having the late Dennis Hopper as a batshit crazy Sheriff go toe to toe with Leatherface in a chainsaw duel was just the sweeter.

Scarface

For the EMPEROR!!
Big Trouble in Little China.

"When some wild-eyed, eight-foot-tall maniac grabs your neck, taps the back of your favorite head up against the barroom wall, and he looks you crooked in the eye and he asks you if ya paid your dues, you just stare that big sucker right back in the eye, and you remember what ol' Jack Burton always says at a time like that: "Have ya paid your dues, Jack?" "Yessir, the check is in the mail."

"Just remember what ol' Jack Burton does when the earth quakes, and the poison arrows fall from the sky, and the pillars of Heaven shake. Yeah, Jack Burton just looks that big ol' storm right square in the eye and he says, "Give me your best shot, pal. I can take it."

I previously said:

Big Trouble in Little China
UHF
Legend

but I should add:

The Evil Dead
Midnight Madness
Clue
Heavy Metal
The Adventures of Buckaroo Banzai

All of these movies did poorly at the box office and for critics, but gained a fanbase later on, giving them cult status.
