What is the latest good film you watched ?

Just saw a great Swedish vampire movie called Let the Good One In, which was absolutely fantastic. If you've been disappointed by vampire coverage over the past...uh...how long has it been since Interview...? That was the last good one I can remember, anyways...anyways, if you haven't seen a good vamp movie, I suggest this one. Its got a great, pretty kickass girl vampire in it! Fuck Twilight~!! lol
Not to be picky, but I am going to be, but its called Let The Right One In. I agree its a great movie. Its next on my Blu-Ray purchase list!

Naked Lunch (1991) - Not bad, I have the book around here somewhere that I've never read. Maybe I'll give it a read through to see how close it was. Although I have my doubts as to how close it was to the actual text. But I could be wrong.

The director's cut is even better! I've watched it 3 times now! Once in Maximum Movie Mode which is pretty cool!
Who watches the Watchmen? I do!! :)

I know, it's fucking GREAT!

Snyder definately did his job in adapting the book onto the silver screen.

New in Town, BTW.

Girlfriend loves this movie, and was about time I watched it. Cute couple movie. :lovecoupl

I was talking about the horror film made in 2007, which is also set to be released on dvd this October. I think you were getting confused with the two films "Trick or Treat" and the other film "Trick 'r Treat", which have nothing to do with each other whatsoever.

I see. My bad, I guess

You're not wrong. The movie is more thematically similar to the novel (& Burroughs' work in general) than a straight adaptation which would be pretty much unfilmable.

Heavy Metal

Not so much a film, but rather a collection of animated short stories revolving around an evil green ball.

Killer 80s metal soundtrack. :banger:

Yes I was having that thought when I wrote the post above. I'm not a Burroughs aficionado but I have read bits and pieces and I'm sure you're correct.

Not bad, decent enough plot, oddly this was loosley based on the events during the authors own life (wow what a life that must have been). A little too surreal for me perhaps.
