Last night watched The Magnificent Seven (1960) a really great westernizing of Akira Kurosawa's even better Seven Samurai (1954). The opening scene with Yul Brynner & Steve McQueen was career defining iconic for both of them. (While watching it, it dawned on me that 5 of the 8 main stars were Eastern European immigrant or their parents were.)

Neither good nor bad but something in-between I watched Battle Royale 2: Revenge. If you are a fan of the first film watch this extended cut of part 2 and it might be OK.

A good movie about a bad story. I remember when it happened and wasn't surprised a bit the CIA was able to make the evidence go away and force a retraction.
Star Wars was OK, kept me entertained, did the job

Great Hammer Films follow-up to The Curse Of Frankenstein. Peter Cushing is one of my all-time favorite actors. I cheer for his God-like brilliance as Baron Frankenstein and have total disdain for the fools and meddlers that get in his way of success.
