What is the latest good film you watched ?

I Like To Play Games. I watch softcore and erotic thrillers because of the plot. As in, the 3 Bs: boobs, bush, butt. Of course they don't have all the 3 Bs at once, but basically, the nudity. So that's why I watched this film, but I came out of it putting my hands up. It's a really good film! I was shocked at how engaging the plot (story) was, as [NOBABE]Lisa Boyle's[/NOBABE] character was a manipulative bitch that had her hold on Ken Steadman's character. I never knew the actor, and felt really sad he passed away at such a young age. Normally I don't give a shit about a male lead with a personality that wouldn't work with me. In his case, he was basically trying to be a yuppie, who also wants to fulfill a sexual fantasy that his previous girlfriend Melodie, couldn't do. He trains in martial arts, that's interesting, long brown hair, not a trait of the 90s, rooted in the 80s, I dig. Personality though, nothing.

But then the relationship with him and [NOBABE]Lisa Boyle's[/NOBABE] Suzanne boiled and it really elevated the film above its steamy content. There was so much teasing and contact with the man's crotch that it almost crossed into hardcore. Rare full frontal male nudity even, so it's not like the story got into the way of the nudity. It's the only movie I've seen so far in this genre where story and nudity were handled as equals. Normally there's too much nudity, which is awesome, but like Chinese food, you tend to forget the taste after the meal. Or there's too much plot, and it's just meh at best. Some nice twists, nice plot from [NOBABE]Lisa Boyle[/NOBABE] and others, and a guy that became likeable in the end. I tend to dislike male lead characters (not necessarily the actors) more often than not, especially when it's not an action film, or a big name, very talented/legendary actor doing a role, but this one really impressed me.

There are only a few of these kind of films I'd like to watch again. Scandalous Behavior and Scorned with [NOBABE]Shannon Tweed[/NOBABE], I'd like to watch again for example, and this movie now joins those 2. Right now I like it more than those 2 Tweed movies, and every other softcore film I've seen. And I've indulged in a lot the past month.

Ohhh, so they've replaced Jessica Alba on the Fantastic 4 in the latest movie, huh?

I'll be rewatching the original Fantastic 4 and watching the 2nd Fantastic 4 for the 1st time here soon as my brother lent me a whole mess of DVDs and those are in the mix.

I AM A SLUT FOR RYAN GOSLING

Yep, I'm sure they will bring alot more action in the sequel, Can't wait!!! :)
Fantastic four was a horrible movie, it was even worst then the other two.
Not agree it was alot better that the first one, Action less yep, But it's the beginning and the story is a lot better than the old ones.

I was doing some Googling and ... am I seeing things or is Johnny Storm Black in the latest Fantastic Four movie?
WTF? What gives? How do they explain that? Isn't that more than the allowable fucking around under the hood of a franchise?

They did it with The Wild Wild West. And to a certain extent in the Lost In Space movie when they made Maureen a Brunette ... and John a Blond or borderline Blond AND weak.

Dead Bang. Weird name, but a very solid 80s action movie, featuring Don Johnson. Since I never saw Nash Bridges and Miami Vice, it's my first exposure to Don Johnson. Kind've a bummer he didn't do a lot of movies, because his character here is Dirty Harry lite, mixed with Johnson's great looks. I'm assuming he was in his 30s during this movie, meaning he really rocked sex appeal in a male's 30s. Cameo of Ron Jeremy, hilariously being part of a biker gang called "Shaggers." Lots of racist stuff on account of the villains, and that police department in Oklahoma, Hulk Hogan would feel right at home there...

This summer in theaters:San Andreas, Spy, Jurassic World, Trainwreck, Minions, and Vacation. On DVD:The Wedding Ringer, Blade II, Guardians Of The Galaxy, The Heat, Ali G Indahouse, Harlem Nights, Cheech & Chong Still Smokin' , Revenge Of The Nerds, The Girl Next Door, Bad Boys, Bad Boys II, Half Baked, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre remake, and Star 80.

Given that it's tanking at the box office, I don't think the sequel will get made.

The director won't be back, I think they'll know that the combination of poor reviews and low takings ($$$) mean a subsequent movie with the same cast would not make back the cost of its production. There is a danger, for me, that "the Fantastic Four" as a brand for movies is going to be fucked forever by this film. The best thing that could happen is if Fox sold the rights to Marvel Studios and reintroduced the characters in a role in a big Multiverse style film where they aren't the main draw - do a good job with that, and people might pay to see another Fantastic film.

I thought it was OK. I thought there was too much build up and not enough time spent on them actually having their powers and fighting Doom. The big problem was I saw it 2 hours after Ant-Man which was fucking fantastic.

I don't think there's anything to explain. Johnny Storm was played by a black actor, so what?

What pissed me off personally, was that with Johnny and his dad being black, white Sue was said to have been born in Kosovo and - that's right - ADOPTED. [NOBABE]Sue Storm[/NOBABE] is Johnny's ADOPTIVE sister. Fuck that.

The last good film I saw was Inside Out, last night. Great mix of Pixar cuteness, pathos and well-judged humour. Really good film. Kid-friendly, but some pretty deep stuff that you have to be an adult to really appreciate.

No problem with the Black actor & character ... IF that's what it had been all along. The Powers That Be are basically just fucking around with history just for the sake of what? Perhaps to try and show that in these times there's no racism? Or perhaps that particular actor is popular nowadays? (I not familiar with him.) :dunno: I have no idea why they do shit like that, but IMO they dicked around with a factor that didn't need to be dicked around with.

See what I mean? Fucking around with and changing factors in an equation that didn't need to be ... and then trying to shove the new equation down our throats. WHY? Political Correctness of some sort? Trying to appeal to as many groups as they could? :dunno:

Two things come to mind.
(1) Don't fix it if it ain't broke.
(2) The NEW Coke fiasco.

IF they intentionally set out to cast a black actor, that's terrible cynicism, quota-filling and pandering, sure. If the best audition for the character they wanted happened to be a black actor, fine. The character traits that I feel intrinsic to the character of "Johnny Storm" does not have to include "white skin" in the slightest.

I'd actually have preferred all 4 of them to have been black.... as long as Sue and Johnny still got to be actual siblings, for fuck's sake. Kosovo my ass.

The new Fantastic Four movie was like the bad 50s movies that end up on Mystery Science Theater 3000. How they burned through $110 mil I can't figure out.
