Wasn't originally planning on seeing it (at least until it hit video, anyway), but I changed my mind and attended an afternoon showing yesterday. I'm glad I did.

In honor of one of the greatest examples of courage and heroism I've ever known, I watched "Flight 93" on Saturday.

I watch it every year around the anniversary of Sept. 11 -- and I cry every single time for the entire movie. It's a wonderful, brilliant bittersweet film that fills me with great sadness, yet also with great pride. During the official dedication of the Flight 93 memorial earlier that day, VP Joe Biden said that there is a spark of courage in everyone -- and one day that courage WILL be summoned. May we all face it with the same selfless steadfast bravery as those passengers. :angels:
