My last film was Longest Yard with Adam Sandler. :bowdown:
Be aware though it is a kid's film, so no profanity, no nudity and no Adam Sandler Angry Man. Still highly enjoyable and quite a diverse cast which includes - Lucy Lawless, Russell Brand, Courtney Cox, etc
And as is traditional in Adam Sandler films Rob Schneider has a cameo.

GI Joe: The Rise of Cobra
For a giant toy commercial, it was actually freakin' awesome.
Plus, unlike the other toy commercial of the summer, it actually has a plot. A good one too for a Summer Blockbuster. The two little twists at the end are superb and set up the sequel quite nicely.
You'll definitely leave the cinema satisfied.

I certainly didn't have high hopes going into the theatre, but it was way better than I expected. You're right the trailer doesn't sell it very well.
It's no masterpiece but as a Summer popcorn flick to take either your girlfriend or your young niece to, it succeeds.
Much better than Transformers. Still can't figure out how that film made so much at the box-office.

G.I. Joe: Rise of Cobra
Ugh. Essentially it's pretty much what I expected. Went to a local midnight showing with girlfriend, and friends and found it all pretty damn lackluster. Of course I grew up reading the comics, and watching the cartoon, so ... yeah. I wasn't too hot on all the fucking changes.
As a action movie ... I'd give it maybe a 6 out of 10.
As a G.I. Joe movie ... a 3 out of 10 ... and that's being generous.
