I would have given Bush a grade lower than F if there's one. Argue all you want but this is what he did in 8 years:
- Lie to the Americans, and the whole world, of WMD in Iraq and using 9/11 to force Congress in giving him the power to invade. Thousands of troops died, hundreds of thousands of Iraq civvies also died, Billions and Billions spent and for what? For this alone Bush should not only be impeached but tried as war criminal.
- Torture in Iraq and in secret prisons in countries around the world. Basically violating all the Human Rights that Bush is supposedly protecting. He has the audacity to complain about China's human rights issue when he's done plenty of violation himself.
Guantanomo Bay is another violation of human rights. If all the countries in the world can do what US did imagine the number of people who'll be locked away for no cause at all and have no chance of ever given a fair trial because the country that arrested them think they are a threat to national security and don't deserve rights like everybody else.
- Hurricane Katrina. Bush just don't seem care about the suffering people of New Orleans, whether he intended to or not.
- Privatizing Social Security. Given the state of our economy right now, can you imagine the untold billions that'll be lost if he had his way?
- Economy. I know there'll be people defending Bush on this but as a President he should have stopped the Wall Street from becoming too crazy with the loans and the mortgages, but I guess Republicans will never believe in Regulation when those fat cats are the very ones who contributed to their elections.
Those are just some of the wrongs he's done as President and I doubt he will ever see his approval rating, or the awful image historians have of him change for the better in the next 10-20 years. He will go down as the worst President of all time by a wide margin.
