Still hung up on M.A.G. Just went vet for the 4th time couple days ago. Same thing as prestige in the CoD games.
The guns you start off with are shit, but once you get to lv 34 you get the .50 cal, and lv 39 gets you the variable zoom scope...max out the sniper skill tree and you can easily pop heads from 120 + yards all day long. You can comfortably get kills from over 200 yards as well. At that distance your so far away, people can't find you unless they too have a maxed out sniper load out! I just don't know if the 10% bounus xp you get when you vet stacks each time you vet or not?
I haven't played MAG since picking up Crysis 2 this past Saturday, but I still think it's the best FPS out there.
I have over 1000 hours split between two accounts, and I've never vetted. There's absolutely no reason to do it other than boredom and bragging rights.
I hated when I started a new account and starting from lvl 1 after playing about 450 hours on my original, and I swore that I would never do it again.
I got 45 back from a local mom and pop shop. What a waste. Most linear game I think I've ever played.
You lucky bastard! I only got 20 back in trade in value from Gamestop.Traded it in and got Crysis 2 and couldn't be more happy.
The single player is very linear, but you've obviously never played Final Fantasy XIII.I played for about 10 hours, which is about double the time it takes to beat the campaign on Homefront, and it's more on rails than an Amtrak train.
