Oddly enough..
Assassin's Creed 3 (Original, not the remastered version)
Disgaea 7 (Grindfest)
The Sims 3 COMPLETE
Everspace 1 (Space roguelike)
Deus Ex Revision (Complete remake of the original game by the fans)

To my everlasting shame, I am playing the Plunderstorm event in Warcraft. A PvP'ish grind for mounts, toys pets and pretty armour. 🙁

There isnt (is kinda) anything wrong with WoW'ing it.
(I mean, there is.. it isnt 2005, anymore) :p

But srsly, I sitll like WoW, but it's like visiting a dead mall or an abandoned shopping plaza. Kinda empty and not like the olden days. :\

You try ascension?

Not ashamed of playing WoW. I still play retail, classic and occasionally Season of Discovery. Just sad that I fell for the Plunderstorm and will probably be falling for the upcoming "special" Mists of Pandaria timewalking event.

You are right though. It's not the same, way too much focus on the perfect spec setup and having the best gear before running content to get the best gear (I know how do you get the gear when you can't get a group to get the gear without the gear). But I nabbed my old guild, I invite most people who want to join and everyone in my guild seems happy enough pottering along at their own pace.

Picked up MGS:V Phantom pain, again. COulda sworn I beat the game, a decade ago. Come to find out I only got halfway thru the game and got super bored. (Peace Walker was more to my liking, TBH) So I uninstalled after hitting almost the same point as 2013. It just... isnt rewarding.

Tried FUBG, really REALLY didnt care for it. Unreal engine 5 chugs on my machine, plus no controller support (from what I saw)
https://store.steampowered.com/app/2262200/FUBG_FIGHT_UNKNOWN_BATTLEGROUND/

Gonna finally start The Outer Worlds, my laptop from 2020 couldnt handle it and .. well, living my life, the last one got confiscated by the cops when I left it at my brother's house. (Take everything, investigate, never return, AMURRICA) (oh and they never charged him with anything, they just took every last digital device in the house.) So it took 4 years to get another.

I've tried Outer Worlds on the PS4. I really should restart it at some point, started playing then got distracted by something else. Probably WoW, Star Trek Online or Star Wars (before I quit).

I had a look at Accension. Sorry to say, private server WoW doesn't appeal.

I like the crowd on ascension. Mostly old timers who dont wanna spend or put in 20-40 hours a week in an MMO.
WIth that said, though.. I simply cant MMO like I should. It's a part time job, all it's own. Uninstalled and got back the gigz.

Outer worlds was done by obsidian, and having a certain appeal for their older stuff, I feel it's overdue to trek thru 'their' style of RPG.
I actually TRIED to play it on an ancient craptop.. someone gave me their old online college PC. It was a barebones dell that... was a thing of all time.

What I got out of it was that:
Only play if you have an SSD
A controller is a must
There are settings way, way below the generic 'low' and I havent messed around in config files like that since Unreal Tournament 1999. ;)
"Spacer's choice!"

Felt like bioshock, tbh. The exploration and combat had that polished feeling, unlike No Man's Sky (sticking with immersive? space sims)

I am almost done with Marvel's Midnight Suns and I have very much enjoyed it. It is a more forgiving XCOM style (made by same people) tactical role-playing game featuring various Marvel characters. Had fun with this one.

Replaying Assassin's Creed Rogue (better version than black flag, imo)

Playing borderlands 3 for reals, this time.
(Played it for maybe 2 hours at a friend's house, 2 years ago. Skipped sidequests and tried to see if it was any good. It was! But really couldnt bogart his xbox for days at a time to get my looter-shooter addiction sated)

Horizon Zero Dawn. I started it a long time ago on PS4 and never really got into it, but I got further into it since I bought it on PC, since it's easier for me to play on my Steam Deck. Really good so far!
