Sorry double posted for some reason.
Are all FreeOnes members basement dwellers? Are all sites with white backgrounds too bright? WTF do you do for Google?

I do think it's a tad bright and presonally I would prefer it a little darker. But that's personal preference and not really a site problem.
A problem I do have is the dropdown menus in the Babes section.
Links / Filter/Sort Options and Icon Legend. The two menus will not stay open when hovered over.
They are the only menus i'm having problems with. The drowdown menus on the Blue Banner and in the forums work fine.
The problem is with IE8. They work using Mozilla. I prefer to use IE though.

Settle down. I would've thought someone with "lurk" in their name wouldn't be afraid of the dark. :tongue:
Anyway, I don't think most people spend as many consecutive minutes in a row at Google. With that it's like opening the refigerator to find what you want and that's it. This site is supposed to be a bit more casual than an office building. :dunno:

For the record, I'm a proficient enough lurker that I need no cover of dark. And I tend to stand naked in front of my open refrigerator at night in the hope that the whole neighbourhood will catch a glimpse of my glory. No one accepts dinner invitations anymore, though.

People complain about the colours being too bright, but I haven't had any problems viewing the page for a long time. The only parts that bug me are the sections of white; I find them to be endless voids from which my eyesight cannot escape.
