Important announcement regarding the future of this forum

A lot has changed in the adult entertainment industry in recent years—especially the growing legal requirement to verify the age of visitors from the UK and other jurisdictions. Implementing these measures is not only complex, but also expensive.

Unfortunately, the FreeOnes forums currently generate no revenue and cost us a significant amount to operate. With new legislation coming into effect, continuing to run the forums in their current form is no longer sustainable. We're left with two choices: shut them down entirely, or introduce a small monthly fee to help cover costs.

We've chosen to keep the forums open—but going forward they will be accessible only to paying members of FreeOnes.com. To make this more affordable, we're reducing the price of our Bronze membership tier to just $3/month.

We understand that this change won’t be welcomed by everyone, but it's the only viable option to keep the community alive while staying compliant with the law.

We're also in the process of making the rest of the site PG-13 compliant, which will allow us to adapt to new regulatory environments and better serve a broader audience.

We'll closely monitor how these changes are received and make adjustments as needed.

To upgrade to Bronze membership and continue enjoying forum access—plus additional benefits—please follow this link: https://www.freeones.com/premium

Thank you for your understanding and continued support.

You're username on the forum is synced up with your MyFreeOnes account. That's good. However, you only have one post on the board and no reputation points. That's what's giving you the issues with with the forum. Post more. Get reputation. +1 from me.
There's no way to post something and get some reputation points because all threads appears blocked and unavailable. It's a miracle being able to write here.

The issue is I can't post more, as I can't access any of the forum channels at all. Not a single one of them work which means I am unable to post.

If I have been a member for over 20 years according to the date on my profile, then shouldn't I be "grandfathered" into your new "FREE Ones" membership? If not then you need to change the name of your site and cancel my account. If FreeOnes isn't free then that is a lie and might end you up in court.

Even after upgrading to Bronze and linking my forum account sign in I still seem unable to access any of the forum posts. I just get a message saying: You do not have permission to view this page or perform this action.

Am i missing something here?
Maybe it has something to do with the fact that you registered yesterday?

I paid for the Bronze plan on Friday and immediately had access.

Plz attempt to do so. May I kindly redirect your anger to the processors, tho?

I cannot stress this enough: We are all in the same boat, here.
You know what I know what we all know.
That isnt much help, and despite being part of the staff, we're all 'bending the knee' to the bullshit processors and EU laws.

So. Not to get political or anything, but if you wish to Make FreeOnes Great Again, please put the effort into the best spot: The censorship and the processors. There is a place to put blame, and it isnt necessarily here.
We have been here for decades, and we love each and every one of you.
(Some more than others. But whatevs)
We survived the decline of bulletin boards. We outlasted peachyforum. We had our heyday when chicks wore the shirts (btw I earned 2 shirts and wore them in public cuz #Advertising and #MaybeI'llMeetAnotherMember)

If this is the end, dont be mad at the player. Be mad at the game.
Yeah, that is cliche. But true.

Could you tell me how you did that?
It doesn't allow me to upgrade my current account. It just asks me to create a new one. I messaged the moderators but I haven't got a reply.

What EU laws? The adult verification thing is from the UK which is not part of the EU. Your payment processors are from US. The influence on them that has brought so many little * here is from Australia.

From what I've been reading....

Aside from the UK, the EU law is the Digital Services Act (DSA), which imposes extra obligations on so-called Very Large Online Platforms (VLOPs). Under the DSA, VLOPs must assess and mitigate so-called “systemic risks” — including risks to democratic processes, public health, minors, and fundamental rights. In theory, this sounds reasonable; in practice, it’s dangerously vague. This setup invites regulatory overreach, political pressure, and selective punishment — all without proper safeguards. The Commission also said it will “encourage” national authorities to go after smaller adult sites too.

In the United States, the problem is Texas, which, along with 19 other states with AV laws, ****** an AV law assessing a $10,000-per-day penalty to all adult sites who don't comply with AV laws. There were strong reasons to believe these laws were unconstitutional under U.S. law. As the ACLU (American Civil Liberties Union) noted: “The Supreme Court repeatedly heard cases on this issue in the past — many brought by the ACLU — and consistently held that requiring users to verify their age to access protected content is unconstitutional when less restrictive alternatives, like filtering software, are available.” Long story short, the Free Speech Coalition challenged Texas law, taking it to the US Supreme Court, which, on June 27, 2025, ruled 6–3 (I think you can guess the votes) against its own precedent, claiming that “times have changed” and lowering the standard for suppressing certain speech.

The payment processor for FreeOnes is @verotel . They are in the Netherlands. Given that Amsterdam is a free and liberal city, it's surprising that Verotel is so conservative. Contrary to everything in Holland.
