What Are Your NFL Football Playoff Predictions?

Are you then choosing to ignore that Jay tried to get the knee warmed up, and the fact that he said that he wanted to play, but was told not to go? Or did your opinion include those things? Just wondering.

If he wanted to go he would have been out there. If he was benched because he was stinking up the joint, fine be honest about it. Like I said, I wasn't there in the conversation. It is just an opinion. Why do you take it so personally?

Back to the present. I give a slight edge to the Steelers. Both teams have very good defenses. Both teams have QB's that extend plays and make things happen. The Steelers have an edge in any "running" game.

I go Steelers 27 Packers 24.

Either Rothlisberger's legend grows as with Polomolu or Aaron Rodgers takes another step into Packer lore... he's already done as much by making the game and he belongs higher up the list of great Packer QB's.

Bret Favre began to give this worried look as the cameras fell upon him back in that Atl / BG matchup in Green Bay years back. Now the new guy kicks the top ranked NFC team Falcons out of the playoffs. Another Green Bay title is long overdue but I would still remain happy for the Steelers if they won so long as the game is not set. :2 cents:

Don't discount B.J. Raji or Clay Mathews either..... I love my team! :lovecoupl :iloveyou:

Super Bowl Parking Nearly $1,000 Per Spot

And You Still Have To Walk to Cowboys Stadium

ARLINGTON, Texas - Packers and Steelers fans were set to pay a high price for their team's success Monday as Arlington businesses sought to cash in on the city's hosting rights to Super Bowl XLV in February.

Parking lots close to Cowboys Stadium were demanding almost $1,000 for prime spots, the Fort Worth Star-Telegram reported, while many hotels looked to charge four times their usual room rates around the Feb. 6 event.

At an eye-watering $990, ParkWhiz priced a reserved place in its lot at more than $850 above the stadium's official parking fee, aimed at fans reluctant to take a pre-game stroll.

"Official stadium parking is over a mile away," the site said, adding that a "parking pass through ParkWhiz" would take fans "closer to the action."

But it was not alone in attempting to make a heavy return on the arrival of thousands for the NFL's showcase event. Rooms in a number of hotels close to the stadium were going for close to $500 dollars around game day, way beyond their usual price of around $75 to $150.

Those hoping for entry into Cowboys Stadium faced far higher prices, though, with ticket Websites offering the cheapest seats at more than $2,600 and premium views at almost $16,000.

No, I was seriously just wondering if those things were included in the basis of your opinion. Nothing more.

It is still unknown when he injured the knee. Lovie Smith says he played on it, and couldn't get right. Given what we now know, people that still say he quit, I have to believe, just have their own slant on Cutler. It's not like he didn't attempt to go on it, because he did. Doctors and experts backed the move, Lovie says he pulled him because of it, and Cutler says the same. Yet people want more, because people can't get past their dislike for Jay. Truth is, Jay can't win either way.

All this talk about Cutler reminds me of the stuff that was going on when LaDanian Tomlinson could not play during the playoffs a few years ago. Funny how we are not hearing this about LT now. If Cutler can continue playing like he did this year and get better like he should, he could prove to be the best quarterback the Bears have had since Sid Luckman. And whatever people want to say, Cutler is not as fragile as McMahon was. So lets just see what happens next year before we gather a lynch mob for the guy.

The MUTHAPHUCKIN GREEN BAY PACKERS!!!!
We beat the steelers in our last meeting, and going to a dome stadium in the south! Arlington!
+A five game winning streak! + Packers youth gives em speed compared to an older steelers team. Its gonna be a good game but I say Packers 31 Steelers 24

The Steelers will win in yet another game of two halves. Pitt will dominate the first half, and the Pack will run the second, but come up short. Just like the Jets did.

ACTUALLY, the last time the Steelers & the Packers met was late last season....AND the Steelers won 37-36 on a late TD pass to Mike Wallace!

Whoever it is, it's going to be an effing great game.

Mostly I see strength vs. strength in this game. The only advantage I see one team over the other is Green Bay receivers vs. Steelers corners. Troy can't cover everything. Steelers should play more zone than they want, and rush only 4. If Green Bay can exploit this Green Bay can win. If the Steelers secondary can cover until the rush gets to Rodgers, Pittsburgh should win.
Plus Pittsburgh can't count on the kicker to win the game. He is too unreliable.

Wow, I must have turned out the lights on this thread the other day, but I will say I think the Steelers should win because they are the best all-around team. I think Steelers 24, Green Bay 20 in one of the best played Super Bowls in a long time.
