What are you eating right . . . NOW ?!

cheese and crackers

I'm so horny, even the crack of dawn isn't safe
Key Lime Cheesecake. So Fuckin good.

Ace Bandage

Nothing better than chili on a really snowy day.

Rapidly cooling chips. There was kebab meat too, but that gets eaten first, obviously. Cold kebab meat is revolting when all the fat that's escaped starts solidifying so you feel like you're eating meat slathered with lard.

Nothing better than chili on a really snowy day.

What are the square things? Look like ravioli.

Mini Saltine crackers. Rather than break up the full size ones, I buy the minis. They're awesome.

I can understand the crackers, 'cause it helps thicken it up, but why are there spaghetti noodles in your chili?

I'm the opposite. Pasta as your carbs instead of rice, fine, although personally I never have my chilli with anything other than rice. Sticking crackers which "crunch" in a sauce-based meal seems mental to me. Unless you're on the breadline and it's a really cheap method of getting more "meal" from a small portion of main ingredients.

I had an acquaintance who was struggling to make rent on occasion so to save money his evening meal would be "a potato."

Actually, it may seem odd to you, but over here, crackers are a common side with chili when served in a bowl (which is sometimes a bread bowl). So is serving chili on corn chips, for chili, chips, 'n' cheese, or on a baked potato. And of course chili dogs and burgers, but it's more of a condiment that that point.

As for chili with rice, I think I've only ever seen that on TV, and it seemed odd to me. Though not as odd as the noodles...

I guess it's just one of those things that it really depends on where you are as to what seems right or odd, like so many things.
