Who cares? If you enter a contest you should give 100% to your fans that are voting for you... regardless of your placement. The fans are the ones who matter. This is a great opportunity to meet new fans, no matter where you finish. There will likely be another contest a year from now and people remember who worked hard and who mailed it in...

I dont think Johan was questioning the effort being made by the girls but rather implying that a vote for a low ranking competitor was a wasted vote. Let's not just assume we will have a contest next year either. If the hard working girls receive little support then their isn't much insentive for them to return.

To be honest I can tell you everyone still got a chance..
I entered the contest only 5 or 6 days ago and Ive been climbing ever since. And i think its not bad at all what i managed in the last 4 days. So it doesnt matter.. i put alot of effort in it,. and so do all the other girls who are climbing in the list!.. Ive been moving up all the time.. and there are still 13 days to go
So i think its very negative of yours to say that its useless.., or that the girl round 100 or below dont have a chance.

All the girls that put effort in it they will climb up .. sometimes faster then you can imagine.

Ultimately, one could argue that every vote that didn't go to the eventual winner was wasted. I don't have the luxury of owning a crystal ball to know who Miss Freeones will be....so I will continue to support the girls that are making an effort, even if it means wasting votes.

i can understand the gist of johan's argument but a lot can happen between now & the end of the month. as everyone has pointed out, miss hybrid was a relative unknown about a week or so ago. thanks to the hard work she's put into campaigning for votes (by posting some pics & interacting with us all) she is now at no 69.

I have stalled and am not climbing nor falling at the moment, whilst I would love to be up there with Vicky and Bree the fact is I havent been on Freeones as long nor do I have as big a fan base as the girls in the top 10 BUT if I keep up my hard work on here, I can only hope to retain some of my new 'fans' and have a shot somewhere down the line. No need to be short sighted here now is there?
