Vatican calls Catholicism "Only True Church"

I am not religious... But Catholics are nuts stating this and they should be ashamed of what they did to Africa in their conversion crusades..

If the religion’s goal was to at one time spread out and have the Earth be populated I think in this day in age they should be able to safely pull back and look at the obvious overabundance of people in it and say, "mission accomplished there's no need to go further."

there's the inherent problem....if a religion said "mission accomplished," nobody would continue to believe in it. :hatsoff:

I don't like the Pope's statement, that the Roman Catholic Church is the "Only True Church". What about other Christian churches, Jews, Muslims, Buddhists, Sinto, Hindu, other religious cults? Once upon a time a Pope challenged this. The result were the Crusades, where Constantinople was sacked on the fourth. That time Byzantine was a Christian Empire, however not Roman Catholic. If the Pope continues to state that the Catholicism is the true church, the peace efforts can stop in the Middle-East. They will state, that peacekeepers are Crusaders, who invaded their Holy Land.
In my opinion God is in every religion, church whatever He is called: Jahve, Lord God, Allah etc. There is NO true religion/church because the other factions will claim this title, and war starts.
