Texas beat Colorado, bad offence, bad defence and has lost 4 times already before their game with Texas.

USC is on another level. They haven't won 34 games in a row by chance. They could be the best team college football has ever seen. I don't really know NCAA football, but from the looks of things, USC have been kicking ass for the last 2-3 years... with Leinhart and possibly Bush going to the NFL next year, maybe its their last chance to win a big game, i don't think they will lose this one.

You know, all of you really knowledgeable college football fans are really beginning to convince me about this! I now feel that Texas will be lucky to get out of the Rose Bowl with their uniforms still on. I don't care that Texas has the #1 offense and the #5 defense in the nation....you are right sir, the only place they are only loaded is on special teams. Never mind that Vince Young has a quarterback rating of 118, highest in the NCAA. Won't make a difference. The mighty Trojans are so far above and beyond anyone in the entire history of not only college footbal, but perhaps the entire universe as well. Matt Leinart is a God and Reggie Bush is Superman. Pete Carroll is a total genius who can do no wrong. This team cannot be beaten by anyone anywhere anytime....no way, Jose. I say give 'em the trophy now and let's save all the fuss. With its invitation to the Rose Bowl, Texas is headed to its eighth straight bowl game. That marks the Horns' longest streak since they went to nine straight bowls from 1977-85. Granted ... the Trojans are coming into the Rose Bowl as 6½-point favorites, but like I said previously - with Young's arm and the 'Horns' hunger - don't make the mistake of underestimating the strength of our team. The 'Horns are the only team in the country ranked in the top 10 in total offense and total defense, plus, their 50.9 points a game is the best mark in Division I-A. The 'Horns have the ultimate weapon in Vince Young; a quarterback with a rating of 118 (highest in the NCAA, by the way). It's all about speed, speed, speed ... of which we have an abundance. We have a relentless, solid defense. And we also have sound and solid playmaking on our special teams. Since last season’s 12-0 loss against Oklahoma, the 'Horns have been perfect, gloriously highlighted by the early season 25-22 win at Ohio State, the game that solidified our reputation as so much more than just another champion on paper.

Hell, even USC Coach Pete Carroll has admitted a bit of wariness regarding Young. Read it:

"We have all kinds of issues (matching up against Texas)," USC coach Pete Carroll said. "To see all the highlight shows each weekend, (quarterback Vince Young) keeps scoring long plays and long touchdowns and getting guys down the field throwing the ball, whether it's on rhythm or out of rhythm, which he's remarkably talented at. We'll have to focus tremendously on how to keep him under wraps knowing that 300 yards a game is a lot of yards for a guy to get. The problem is they have a lot of other players that play really well, too, and a defense that plays lights out."

Pete Carroll will dissect the Texas defense and exploit their offensive weaknesses. He'll bring looks that Vince Young and Mack Brown have never seen before. They'll allow Young to run a little bit, then drill him. No one runs the ball too well against SC. All that shit about the USC Defense being sub-par is shit! They've had six starters out for extended periods. Texas has never seen speed like Reggie Bush and they cant really simulate that in practice. I guarantee he makes them look dumb. They will dominate on Jan 4th
