No...but it IS better than Twilight.

It's one of those shows that can get your attention and then fizzle out if it is not written well. For example the 3rd season of Dexter bored me to tears, then the 4th season hooked me back in..As for new tv series that really has my attention is AMC's The Walking Dead, which is based on a zombie apocolypse and comic book.

Sales for the first season DVD of HBO's True Blood have officially sold more than The Sopranos season one DVD.

The hit show, produced by Alan Ball, have sold 1.3 million copies, which is 37 percent more than the 943,000 DVDs of “The Sopranos” first season.

The show has even outsold HBO's Sex and the City, which sold 426,000 copies of its season one DVDs.

I almost gave up on it early in the first season.The first three episodes were really boring,but it really picked up after that.I will admit though,there are some really annoying characters on the show,which I guess could definitely turn a lot of people off.

it seemed quite soap-operaish to me...i don't know maybe if i'd gotten further into the series i woulda gotten into it

I actually never really watched much of seasons 1 & 2, but then I was on wikipedia and started reading about the novels that the show is based on and all the different characters so I started watching season 3 and now I want to catch up on the other two seasons. I'm really starting to like it and I love the theme song
