James Storm is the Leader of an Awakening

James Storm is scaring a lot of people in TNA right now... The decorated former champion has been using words like "awakening" and "revolution" for the past few weeks and has even, seemingly, brainwashed Sanada. Then, last week, the two took Manik from the ring after an X Division matchup. This week, we saw Manik's condition.

Tied to a support column in a barn, Storm promised Manik a new self, an "awakening" and began to abuse and unmask him, before he sent our cameras running from the property.

The question we are asking, and Storm isn't answering is: What is the endgame here? What could it be that James Storm is doing with these men and how will it effect IMPACT? How do these mean play into Storm's "revolution" and what is the ultimate goal? Is it a World Title? Or something far sinister?

Only Storm knows his motive - and chances are he's not telling. Yet...

Kurt Angle Reportedly To Remain With TNA Wrestling; No Move to WWE

After months of speculation as to whether or not Kurt Angle could be making a move back to WWE, it now appears that he will stay right where he is at with TNA on a part-time schedule.

We’ve been hearing for quite some time now that Kurt Angle could soon be making a move back to WWE, where he would finish out his career on top once again. The one issue that has been holding a deal off has been his contract offer with his old company, which now might make a return impossible.

According to a report from Wrestling Rumors, Angle was indeed offered a contract from WWE by Triple H, however it was for a full-time schedule, which is definitely something that he doesn’t want. The full-time schedule was the reason that he left in the first place back in 2006.

So now, with that being the case, many expect Angle to just sign another part-time deal with the No. 2 promotion for more than likely another year.

Because of that, there is a belief that Angle will remain in TNA, even though the company finds itself in an uncertain state. It is expected that TNA will be able to offer Angle a part-time contract for at least another year, and Angle will remain with the promotion.

Throughout all of this the past few months, we knew that the contract was a big issue. We’ve also known that WWE was not as interested in bringing Angle back as some might have assumed. It’s almost as if they purposely only offered a full-time contract, knowing that he would turn it down in the end.

TNA Wrestling News and Rumors: New TV Announcement Expected In The Next Few Days [VIDEO]

Dixie Carter and TNA are expected to make a big announcement in the coming days and it is widely expected that it will be a new network television deal for the company's flagship Impact Wrestling program.

According to Wrestlingheadlines.com, it was reported last week that some people in TNA were told to expect a major announcement within the next 10 days, which is likely the revelation of a new television deal for the company.

There is a rumor that TNA will be making the declaration about a new network before the first week of November is over with.

TNA has been in search of a new network ever since it was revealed by Spike TV that the network is looking to get out of the wrestling business and would be dropping Impact Wrestling.

Spike TV originally was looking to drop TNA from its network schedule sometime this month when the deal between the two sides expired, but the network wanted to be a good partner and support TNA during its search for a new network home, opting to keep the organization on its station until the end of 2014.

Carter has reportedly been insistent backstage that TNA Impact Wrestling will live on in January of 2015 on another network and she even went as far as to say that the first episode of 2015 -- slated to air Wednesday, Jan. 7 -- will air on a new network and there will not be a gap in shows during the transition.

There have been multiple reports over the last few months that TNA has been involved in negotiations with many different networks, but so far it is unknown which station was the front-runner to strike a deal.

It appears as though TNA's network issues may be over with and Impact Wrestling may have found a new home, but the announcement has yet to be officially made.

KURT ANGLE-TNA SPOILER

Kurt Angle (who is in Hollywood this week working on acting endeavors) is believed to close to signing a new part-time deal with TNA that will allow him to split time between pro wrestling and pursuing acting work. I believe the announcement that Angle has signed a new deal is what Dixie Carter has been teasing on Twitter of late in terms of her big announcement.

Angle's deal expired in late September and there was communication with WWE, which was only interested in him if he was willing to commit to a full-time schedule - something Angle was not willing to do.

TNA News: TNA Impact Wrestling Potentially Staying With Spike TV In 2015

In a surprising update on TNA’s future TV deal, the company could end up staying with Spike TV. Currently, TNA Wrestling is airing taped shows and will then air highlight shows until the end of the year, when their current run with Spike ends. It was said that Spike gave TNA until the end of the year as a courtesy, as their original TV deal ended in October.

Spike and TNA spoke regarding a TV deal months ago, and the two sides couldn’t come to an agreement. This is why we heard the news of Spike TV dropping the wrestling program. The fact that TNA has not been gaining viewers has hurt them severely, according to experts. Ever since the announcement was made, many former and current talents claimed it was a good move at the end of the day because Spike barely promoted them.

While Spike can be responsible for some promotion, TNA has to do some too. WWE for one promotes themselves in various ways. USA Network doesn’t have to do this for them all the time. That being said, Spike is not responsible for constant promotion of TNA. The other critical remark was that Spike seemingly wanted to buy into the company and Dixie Carter wouldn’t allow it, thus the talks stopping with Spike.

Viacom recently bought Bellator MMA, Spike’s newest MMA platform. This was done because Viacom could gain more money by buying in than trying to only see advertising money from it. This led to many believing Viacom wanted to buy into TNA. This is said to be true, which is why many within TNA were good with the move away from the Spike TV network.

Despite this, it appears that TNA Wrestling’s only TV show, Impact Wrestling, could be staying on Spike.

Original talks with Spike were done in hopes for TNA to get similar money that they did in their last deal, but Spike wasn’t willing to give anything close to that. The reason: TNA has lost major names and many TNA favorites. On top of this, ratings have not gotten better since the last deal. In fact, they have lowered.

This lowball deal led to TNA seeing what they could get on the open market. Finding out that no one was willing to offer them the money they wanted, one source notes that TNA may end up going back to Spike TV. It is said that the two sides never stopped talking, but Spike was not willing to budge on it’s offer to TNA. That being said, if TNA stays with Spike, it will be for a significantly lower amount than their last deal. However, with this they will remain on a major network… something they may not get with some other offer that might be on the table.

TNA is still negotiating with other networks, but right now we can assume Spike is where they will end up. To add more fuel to the fire, TNA Executive Vice President John Gaburick was in New York on Wednesday. It was said that he was there to sign a new TV deal. We know that MTV, Spike’s parent company, has an office in New York. Of course, many networks do. So while Guburick could be going anywhere, it is said that TNA has signed a deal with someone, and many believe it’s with Spike.

We are expecting to hear a “big announcement” from TNA President Dixie Carter soon. So we can assume she will tell us of either the Kurt Angle signing or the newest TV deal TNA has sealed up. Regardless of who they end up with, TNA will have to sign for a lot less. So we could still see a lot of people leave… especially seeing as Panda Energy is refusing to go over budget with TNA these days.

Report: Alberto Del Rio To Sign With TNA In 2015?

UPDATE: As noted earlier this week, former WWE Superstar Alberto Del Rio stated in a recent interview that he plans to sign with two wrestling companies with television deals in 2015. Those two companies are apparently Lucha Underground and TNA.

During some appearances in the Northeast this past weekend, Del Rio made it clear that he intends to work for both Lucha Underground and TNA next year. There’s no word on how that would work out from a contractual standpoint, however that appears to be Del Rio’s plan. In case you missed our report on Sunday, you can see a video below where Del Rio says he will be signing with two US companies with TV deals in January.

ORIGINAL: Following his appearance at the House of Hardcore iPPV, Alberto Del Rio spoke with Bill Apter. During the brief chat, which you can see below, Del Rio stated that he would be signing with two US companies with TV deals. He said that this would happen on January…
