Total Nonstop Action wrestling thread

So is anyone going to order the PPV? It looks like the best card TNA has put together in a LONG time, no coincidence since it doesn't have Sting/Anderson/Hogan on it.

The one match I'm not looking forward to is the X-Division title match and that's only because Abyss is fucking HORRIBLE IN EVERY SINGLE WAY.

Did anyone see the show? From what I read it sounds like it was a better than average PPV and that the 4-way stole the show.

Also, that Abyss is a fat piece of shit.

It was one of the best PPVs that TNA has put on in a long time. It felt fresh (even with Abyss and RVD) because alot tof the performers haven't had a chance to shine recently on Impact and Styles vs. Daniels was given about 30 min. to put on one heck of match that showed their true wrestling roots

More On Generation Me's TNA Departure

Regarding Generation Me’s departure from TNA Wrestling, the duo requested that they released be released from their contracts on Sunday prior to Destination X.

Generation Me told colleagues at the last set of iMPACT! Wrestling tapings in late June that they would be seeking their release from the organization. A contributing factor to their decision was not being booked on house shows; they only worked three tours this year.

Once again known as The Young Bucks, they are accepting booking inquiries via Highriskwrestlin@aol.com.

The partnership, which will run through July, 2012, provides Direct Auto with promotional rights to all of TNA's multiple events, including their flagship television program IMPACT WRESTLING (Thursdays, 9pm ET/PT on SPIKE), billboard sponsorship and exposure at all TNA pay-per-view events as well as more than 50 of TNA's IMPACT WRESTLING WORLD TOUR live shows held in the U.S. Direct Auto will also sponsor TNA's "Coastal Chaos Caribbean Cruise," slated for December.

"We have had the pleasure of working with Direct Auto Insurance on a number of our live events over the past several months. As the exclusive presenting sponsor, Direct Auto will be incorporated into all promotional and advertising materials supporting each event, including TV and radio advertising, in-arena and in-studio exposure and exclusive "meet and greets" with IMPACT WRESTLING Superstars who will be appearing at Direct Auto Insurance offices.

We're also looking forward to bringing the Superstars of IMPACT WRESTLING closer to their fans with live ‘meet and greet' opportunities at many of our Direct Auto Insurance offices."

The partnership will also include exposure in 52 episodes of IMPACT WRESTLING, as well as multiple 30 second commercial units during SPIKE's broadcast, each featuring the Superstars of IMPACT WRESTLING. In addition, Direct Auto Insurance will be featured in-program over the coming year with a special 30 second segment entitled the "Direct IMPACT of the Night."

Vince had a billionaire breathing down his neck for years. It's doubtful Vince "fears" Dixie Carter and the mess that is TNA.

i would put more stock in this if TNA was really competing with WWE, but thats not the case here, unlike WCW which put its programing head to head with WWE as far as days go, TNA is staying off WWE's radar with the exception of signing talent from there.
