Anyone remember the NWA angle played on WWF tv back in 1997 with Jeff Jarrett, Cornette, and the Midnight Express?

Yeah, the days of WCW vs nWo were great, and quite memorable as well. Sting coming down to save such and such WCW wrestlers from the nWo beatdown during the last 2-3 minutes of Nitro, Tony SHITvonie screaming, "We're out of time!", all good stuff.

And I agree with you about Hogan. Turning heel was a brilliant move, and also gave the whole "Hostile TakeOver" angle a great boost. Hell, his speech when turning heel felt more like a shoot than something completely scripted. Which was great because it worked quite well with the "anything can happen" direction WCW was going for at that point in time.

I would literally turn my tv off blown away after Nitro in those days. It was just so good that you got drawn into it without even knowing it. I will never forget Hogan spraypainting NWO on the belt after he won it off of the Giant. I also got chills when Hogan spraypainted NWO over one of his Huilkamania red and yellow shirts and said "anything else, would be too civilized" That era on Nitro from 1996 untill late 1998 was must see tv every week.

I heard that WWE house shows get bettter reviews cause the matches are longer since there is no retarded tv time. Hopefully I will find that out for myself in April this year.

Maybe but there isn't enough divas in WWE to have tag team title belts for both shows (no point to include the WWE version of ECW since it's only and hour show). If there is I will love to see the Bella Twins as tag team champions.

Yeah I agree with Drew84. The WWE would have to have the divas switch brands constantly to have a decent tag team division. Pretty much like what The Miz and Morrison do now. I wouldn't know about having the Bella Twins as tag team champions though, they still need training honestly.

Tna goes old school with another classic show... with booker t aka black snow calling the matches along with chet lemon aka kevin nash it was light harted and funny if you know the old school i mean to here he hit'em with that flying burrito just classic...I never have to fast forward on this show un like other shows...TNA gets a 10 for the week.

Smack down was like an 8 last week because i think edge is the best of the best right now... but what i dont like is them trying to make mvp a "good guy" i dont like it and HHH is looking good still and his prime to me.

Raw was good once again like that Shane is back too but dont like my boy randy getting beat lke that he'd kill Shane in a match even though Shane is crazy and dont like that crap when the whole roster comes out there and stand united that just sucks Raw get an 8 overall

ECW back in the day was awesome. The NWA in the early to mid eighties was also good. Unfortunately, with bigger paychecks and the thought of performing before larger audiences and more t.v. exposure. The top talent left ECW. Although, you can't blame them. That was their downfall. The NWA was great until Bischoff took over and thought he knew about wrestling. He should have learned from his days with the declining AWA on what not to do. The big knock on WCW was the fact that the "superstars" were doing it for the money and the company by not promoting the younger stars who would one day take over the company. Vince is trying to do just that with ECW. The fans aren't really receptive to them but the fans need to understand that their favorites won't be around forever and these youngsters are the future.
