WWE is still stubbornly trying to get Roman Reigns over as a babyface. Their attempt to get sympathy for him backfired horribly as the crowd got behind Braun Stroman beating the Holy Hell out of Roman possibly turning Braun babyface by accident.
Yep I agree 100% The crowd chanting, "thank you Strowman" didn't help and just made matters worse.
I don't get it. They boo Roman for being pushed by creative. Implying they know it's fake. Then they cheer Braun for almost "killing" Roman while knowing it's fake. Fans these days can be so damn moronic and petty. Roman's pushed too hard but it's ok that Brock constantly part times. Roman's corny yet people love Daniel Bryan, 10 chants, unicorns and a fkn list.

These last monthes, WWE wrestling is horrible :
- Brock Lesnar is the Universal Champion yet he wasn't at MITB, won't be at Extreme Rules and is likely not to be at SummerSlam
- The whole Styles vs Nakamura feud : it was set to be a dream match, they fumbled it and repeated it over and over and over and over...
- Braun Strowman. They clearly don't know what to do with this guy
- They completely wasted Lashley's come back
- People seem to love Rusev but the officials don't want to give him anything
- Roman Reigns
- James Ellsworth
etc...
I'm seriously thinking about stopping to watch WWE

What did everyone think of the Bella kicking Liv in the face?
After botching TWO dives just the week before and almost injuring herself, the next week she injures someone else. It should be clear she had no business being in the ring. She was never particularly good to start with, but the maternity leave disintegrated what little she had left.
I'd be fine if she took the effort to go back and train properly, but she (& her sister) just want the spotlight with no effort. The hate stems from the fact that the new breed of women's wrestlers are legit better than the "divas", yet they get held back by these gloryhogs.
I did crack a smile seeing WWE try to be meta and let Liv kayfabe give brie a receipt though. Too bad it was only a 1-time thing

I'm a lifelong pro wrestling fan but it's laborious as Hell to get through a 3 hour RAW even fast-forwarding through the commercials and sanctimonious babyface promos.
My favorite time as a pro wrestling fan had to be my high school years. Our cable system carried WTBS Superstation from Atlanta and I was a nut for Georgia Championship Wrestling and later on World Championship Wrestling. I was home always at 3PM on Saturdays to watch. I'd also enjoy going to the magazine stands checking out the wrestling mags reading about the happenings in the territories. Kevin Sullivan was my favorite wrestler as a kid even though I only read about him or maybe saw a clip on Pro Wrestling This Week with fatass Joe Pedicino, Texas Mall Hair Bonnie Blackstone, and that drunk Gordon Solie.
WWE made Last Week Tonight this week as their main story was about Saudi. I think Oliver actually watches the show. Can't say if he's a legit fan (or his writers), but they do make some knowledgeable comments about them. Plus he even hashtagged #breathemode at the end, a clear reference to the bellas.
Well, Roman got the biggest babyface reception in recent memory, so I guess we know what it takes to get him over.
In other news, poor Bliss is taken out of the legends match a Evolution. She's had a string of injuries, and this time is was a bad enough concussion that Fox is now in the Lita/Trish match. I really feel for her since that's literally a once in a lifetime match.
I'll be watching Evo but wow this is so much missed potential.

I'll be watching too, but it's an embarassment how underbooked this show is. Two main roster singles matches? That's the best they could do?

While I get Char vs Becks, the "main event" for something that's supposed to show the evolution of women's wrestling is... a bella vs rousey? Nikki is getting praise for being the "better bella" which is REALLY a low bar these days with brie's contant botching, and rousey is still way too green to be considered the pinnacle of women's wrestling.
And where are all the actually qualified women? Either stuffed in the Battle Royale, or knocked out of the MYC rounds. There a PLENTY of women in NXT or the MYC that can wrestle circles around nikki/rousey, or arguably char/becks.
Also Madusa. She was ok in her prime, but she's a senior citizen now. What are they expecting her to do, esp in a BR?
Fox is a very (if not the MOST) underrated wrestler with the most beautiful suplex on the roster, man or woman. But as a permanent jobber throwing her in the legend's match threw out any tension on who would win.
IIRC Victoria is still a trainer isn't she? Or they still had Beth (who is confirmed for the show anyways)
That's just off the top of my head. They have access to an entire WORLD of wrestlers and they are spotlighting undeserving/under-qualified ones because they need to show "WWE is #1"

Monday Night RAW has been more boring than soccer lately. It's not the weed that makes me nod off.
Sometimes I think IMPACT is better and I enjoyed Lucha Underground which I hope comes back in the spring. New Japan is good too.

I like Lucha Underground, NJPW, ROH, and sometimes even Championship Wrestling From Hollywood better than RAW.
On Smackdown I am very interested in Daniel Bryan's crazed EnviroNAZI heel character.
