Here is the official accurate definition:

Yeah, this isn't an activity that I'd call taboo, but I think it is grossly underused compared to some other things in lesbian porn. Like... say... the fact that TOYS are used in every scene. This is an interesting subject. I read an article somewhere, can't remember where exactly, that speculated that the reason Tribadism wasn't as popular in lesbian porn (i'm talking about the pussy grinding pussy type of tribadism) was because it usually required one of the women to take a dominant role in the lovemaking and that this was 'Taboo' in many male orientated cultures as the dominant role is 'meant' to be the mans role. Therefore the reason that Tribadism isn't as popular now is because it was late in becoming accepted in male orientated society.

However, I've heard numerous other explanations and theories about why its not featured in porn such as;

• Most girls just don't enjoy it
• Many guys don't like watching it or they like watching other stuff better so directors don't encourage their models to do it
• It happens in porn during foreplay but is cut out during editing as it slows down the action and isn't very interesting
• Its difficult to film well

These days I think one of the things that is holding back the creating of more material containing Trib is that its difficult to gauge how much appreciation there is for it out there.
