The worst heavy metal songs

Poison and Death SS (Italy) are awesome. But Poison wasn't formed until -82, and as much DSS were into occult, I don't think they were black metal.

I didn't mean to say Poison was playing in the 70s, just Death SS. I though maybe they did some stuff like Venom and Doom Metal. None the less, I think I'd like it.

Heavy metal was born in the English slums in the late of 1960s and it is combination of blues music, folk music and satanism.

That might explain the long hair with them not having enough money for a haircut in slums. I always thought heavy metal dudes where those people who looks like a woman from behind, but once they turn around they looked even more ridiculously beaten from front. I listen little bit everything and little bit of some rock/heavy music too, but I just feel awkward to even stand near those longhaired dudes...

First step for happier life is to stop listening depressive self-pity and aggression emphasising music like metal and rap. Maybe this kind of christmas songs are the reason for so many messed up kids in Finland? They should have age rating for that kind of satanic music...

^I'd say the first step towards a happier life is to stop worrying about what other people look like and what they listen to.

And I must point out that I mostly listen to music that glorifies Satan, Him, Her, The One. So I know the difference. Ja assari, saatat koko maan häpeään typerillä jutuillasi.

Him is like Abba, sissy and secure.

In my view heavy metal should retun to its roots.

Wimp heavy metal song.

Now that the thread has turned into a black metal thread we can really start talking about the worst songs.

Yep. I used to be in a band with a dude that loved Diocide. pretty sure some of their tunes could make the list. He was an unusual character to say the least.

I was never in a band with that guy. Just with a guy that liked them. I see I had the spelling of the band wrong. He was obsessed or maybe possessed with them.

Does anyone here listen to any Stoner/Doom/Sludge Metal? Stuff like Sleep, High on Fire, Mastodon, Baroness, Yob, Elder, Mountain Witch, Alunah, etc?

I tend to lean towards more progessively-geared bands when it comes to most types of metal as you might have noticed. So I'm always looking for bands that have an interesting/unique sound. Lately I've been finding a lot of that in Stoner sector. YOB hits the spot in particular.

I had a friend who had connections with that norwegian Circle or whatever they called themselves. He was a nice guy and all, but they are truely weird people.
But the followers are the ones that are the most fun, when they run around town with corpsepaint trying to be evil and true, and dressing in black leather clothes when they go to the beach.

I think Glen Benton was possessed by Kevin Sullivan. Tampa connection.

Hey, that's cool you know Kevin Sullivan. That's my favorite pro wrestler of all time. I don't follow WWE these days. Kevin Sullivan was awesome, practicing black magic(k)(okay, I know that wasn't,just sayin'). He had the perfect mix of scientific wrestling and brawling. He would throw fire balls at people and shit. His valet woman was sexy as hell. I saw her live in reading when she was with Shane Douglas in the ECW. I blew her a kiss and then she put up her fingers to make fun of my penis size. Sorry. I know that was off topic.
